The best thing about Kenyans is the fact that they live by hope, fight to stay relevant in the continent and do whatever it takes to live in peace amid a few challenges that haunts them.
For better good, Kenyans are doing fine but when it comes to the leadership, something is not right. It is obvious that, Kenyans do not like learning by experience as they would rather keep fighting to stay relevant than to bend their knees to those they do not support.
Politically speaking, Kenyans are trying hard to change the system, but it seems they are not doing everything possible to stay ahead of the game.
Each time Kenyans go to elections, they only have one thing in mind— elect someone from your backyard— while forgetting about leadership skills in the leaders and dreams for the future.
Later in one voice they would curse the elected leaders, while others would cry tear because feeling abandoned by their leader in the time of need. That is the only moment they, Kenyan, think they have to work together to make the country great again.
Kenyans have dreams too,
Most citizens of this East African country wish to have a unified country where all citizens will be called out, not by their tribal and political affiliations, but by the name that unites them all… Kenyans.
That one day, Kenyans will speak in one language and ethnicity will be the thing of the past.
That Kenyans will arise and defeat the divisive lot that has been always a step ahead, making sure that no more divisive politics and tribal affiliations.
That the police force will not be used by the political class to intimidate people, but will be there to make sure that people live in peace.
That one day, Kenyans will give nothing to those who ask for bribes; instead, they will work hard to earn whatever they seek cleanly.
That school will not be a place to waste time, but institutions to make someone great for future Kenya.
These dreams go on and on, however, Kenyans have a choice that will make everything right and build a foundation for these dreams to come valid. They only need to ditch tradition!
