Kenyans Urged To Be on The Lookout This Festive Season

The Inspector General (I.G) has cautioned Kenyans to be on the lookout for any suspicious persons or any luggage of questionable contents during this festive season. He went on and said that the Al-shabab is disintegrating due to continued pressure that the gang is experiencing from the military personnel that is Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) with an aim of curbing its operations in this region completely.

The IG also said that the Alshabab militants are either moving to join ISIS or the Al-qaeda whichever one prefers to be good for him. He further added any Kenyan who comes across that may seem alarmingly a threat should very fast contact the relevant authorities. He also said that the Al-shabab has always been a threat and so we should take the necessary precautions this festive season. He also urged Kenyans to keep their cards open for the sake of their security.

The threat is real and so let Kenyans do the partying at the same time they ought to take note of the IG’s words. Just a few days ago, we awoke to the shocking news of a bus that was attacked by the Al-shabab but thanks to the Muslim passengers who halted the ill actions of the gang after they refused to be separated from their Christian counterparts. But then let the government beef up more security to the terror prone region now that there is some intelligence reports of impeding attacks.

Then something else, hope there will be swift response by the police in case of anything of concern from the general public. Let us ashame these actors of doom, they cannot succeed to exercise their shadows of darkness over us. They hide in the Islam religion and oh! Unto them because from their heinous deeds; they are not entitled to associate with any religion.

So I hope as Kenyans will be saturated with the partying mood, they ought to take these sentiments seriously for the sake of their safety.

When the terror beast ISIS, nowadays re-branded as ISIL, was taking over the two affected countries by storm, youths thought it was a new revolution that has come to in time. The terror group was like a camouflaged reality social group that was there to transform the whole world into a Kingdom, under one leader.

Yes! Media played a major role in youth radicalization. The reports about ISIL’s wealth, the military hardware and tech part encouraged youths to fight being part of this. In one way or another, the terrorists set the ball rolling, however, the world media took it from there for those interested.

In their young minds, many of them traveled to Syria and Iraq to be part of the new revolution. Barely did they get facts right that terrorism is not the same as conquest. Sad that once you are in, there is no way out— it is a matter of life and death.

Reports started emerging that some foreigners who are fighting under ISIL face major challenge from the locals. It is certain that the terror group recruited the willing bodies to die for the course that they hardly knew about.

For women foreign fighters, they are constantly under watch by the veterans. And in most cases, anyone who shows signs of weakness is cut off from the large group and killed.

It has also been noted that the majority of ISIL fighters on the front line are foreigners. This is one way of eliminating weaker sections that might lead to the group’s downfall.

Youths who are now major part of ISIL operations regret leaving good life behind as they sought for an adventure that disconnected them from the larger society.

The main vision for this multi billion terrorism group was first hidden from the larger affiliates; it seems that only a few individuals knew the motive of its formation. The unfortunate youths who joined this group blindly are dying for the course they barely knew about.

When Cowards Think An Act Of Terror is a Show Of Bravery

The world is dominated by brilliant minds whose positive impacts have left legacies in terms of technology, innovations and other things usable to man. However we have other people who lead a negative kind of lifestyle. They do not value humanity and there are only in existence to cause pain and suffering to other people. Such people’s legacy is nothing but an absurd belief in hurting, killing and maiming innocent people in order to settle religious and political scores. A terrorist is the name given to such an individual! The nonreligious lot that shamelessly does nasty things known to man and later hides in a religious group when targeted by those who value humanity.

Understanding Terrorism

The word terror is an English word that means ‘extreme fear.’  In recent past, we have heard and witnessed series of terror activities in Kenya and all round the world. But the question remains, what is that thing that they want?

It happens that real terrorists are not ready to die, just yet, for what they believe in. That is the reason why they use useless bodies that are radicalized to think that terrorism is the perfect course to reach for heavenly or Godly rewards. But the end results is simple, a fool dies while surviving a greedy master.

Think about this. When a brave soldier goes to war, he or she faces equal forces waiting at the other end. But when a terror goes to the war zone, nope! A peace zone and kills innocent people, I wonder how he or she should see self. Of course, that is not bravery because no one is equally armed. Oops! Only a coward hides under the light while committed to the forces of evil.

Youth Radicalization

In Kenya, known terrorists take advantage of an unemployment situation in the country by promising recruits with a good job, salaries and other riches; this is how educated fellows find themselves in the middle of a terrorist group.

Other persons targeted are naïve youths who do not understand religious life that much; this includes school children who always value the teachings of their teachers— radical religious teachers. This is why in many occasions; you will find converts being the most notorious terrorists.

In other reasons, youths like being part of the mighty change. This is how ISIS is spreading all over the world. To them being in the spot-light is something worth dying for. And they cowardly do this, not believing in terrorism but because they want to leave a mark in history— even when it means a negative legacy.

An Elusive Peace in Africa, Better Wake Up!

Troubled Africa is not going to feel the essence of peace in the near future. Now that we have big problems transforming into something huge for African countries to handle, it is will be not easy to transform our minimal resources into material outcome.

In Africa, the biggest problem we used to have was lack of spirited leaders for our countries. In 54 nations, majority of them were headed by notorious dictators who used to enrich themselves and close cronies, by the larger Africa remained in the mercy of God.

But in recent years, political instabilities in some countries breed another bigger and complicated problem. Terrorists have taken control of unstable regions in Africa; forcing people to follow religious teaching that do not value humanity.

In Somalia for instance, the first suicide bombing was carried out in 2004, which was roughly 10 years after the fall of Somalia government.

So this signifies one thing; Somalia’s problem was political instability until some external forces introduced something new in their midst. In fact the officials of al-Shabaab terrorists were foreigners, and these are people who brainwashed Somalis into joining something they do not understand–and up to now, only the reformed people do realize that the terror group has no good for recovery of this East African country.

In West Africa, the Nigeria’s boko haram terror group was initially formed to oppose western education in Northern Nigeria before graduating into notorious, blood thirty terrorism group after acquiring weapons through illegal trades in the area they had maximum influence on residence.

With recent alliance with the Islamic State, this group has graduated from just one state problem into the continental vice that spreading into other neighboring countries.

In Northern Africa, Libya is now divided because two groups are controlling the state in halves. Reports indicates that the IS group is active in this African nation and nothing like peace is the common goal for both parties controlling Libya by now.

So unless Africa people avoid accepting external influences that mean no good for Africa, this continent will be chaotic in future that before.

Boko-Haram Terror Group Confirms Loyalty To ISIS

The war on terror in the northern Nigeria has been going for years now. But in recent years, the terror group Boko Haram (western education is sin) has gained enough confidence to attack, raid and disappear with the loot and kidnapped individuals with no trace.

The problem that was initially in one West African country has escalated to the neighboring countries with Cameroon taking the bitter pie.

In recent months, the Islamic insurgents have been very active along Nigeria-Cameroon border triggering intensive military operations in the area in desperate measures to combat the now ISIS-group affiliate terrorists.

Many people have lost their lives and others, especially women and children abducted and taken to a secret location as sex objects and child soldiers respectively.

Up to now, there is no information about the where about of 300 school girls who were kidnapped last year. Even the calls by the international community for the Islamist group to let the girls free fell on deaf ears. The reason why the campaign dubbed, #BringBackOurGirls was launched and still going on till now.

The West African countries have joined forces in manhunt for the terrorists operating in the affected region. So far, many terrorists’ facilities have been destroyed but still there is a long way to go.

Yesterday, the leader of Boko Haram , Abubakar Shekeu, swore allegiance to the ISIS group and even called upon other Muslim community to follow suit. This was one way of showing the affected countries that they have become mightier than before and also to instill fear in the region.

With many atrocities committed by the members of this terror group in both Nigeria and Cameroon, the kind of brutality showed signs of the link and it was just in time for them to announce— confirm— the relationship.

Boko Haram’s main agenda is to create an Islamic nation in Northern Nigeria.
