Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful. Albert Schweitzer

Do you all agree? Certainly. I agree with this. We take happiness for granted – do we? I am not sure with others. Success can be achieve by those people who are happy, those who are willing to perform the assigned task to them.

If we are successful we can be happy. Happiness in fact is the key to the so-called success. Most of the time success don’t give contentment to life. They are successful because of their hard work and perseverance but where is happiness? At some point they became happy but for temporary. There are happy people who are successful because the contentment is already with them. No matter what the issue is, the most important thing to note is being happy. Find out what will make you happy.

Sorry, am I making sense here? Am I going in circles?

Napoleon Hill puts it this way “The starting point of all achievement is desire”. If we desire to achieve  something, we should ensure that the passion is always present.

And Mario Andretti added “Desire is the key to motivation, but it’s determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal – a commitment to excellence – that will enable you to attain the success you seek”

It is also the key to motivation – once you have the motivation, you can set goals for yourself. The commitment to excellence towards success.

Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm. Winston Churchill

Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom. George S. Patton

That is the spirit – if we loss some because of failure, we never give up the ennthusiam. When  you reach the lowest point of your career or life and you will that there’s something, always think that what must comes down, must go up.

Life is a song – sing it. Life is a game – play it. Life is a challenge – meet it. Life is a dream – realize it. Life is a sacrifice – offer it. Life is love – enjoy it. Sai Baba

This quote is for sure nailed on the head. It has all that life can be described to – a game, a challenge, a dream, a sacrifice and love.

It is a game – that’s why somebody said life is a game. Play it or lose it. We play with the obstacle courses of life – problems, highs and lows, ups and downs, name it – one should play the game (fair) in order to succeed.

It is a challenge – it is like a goal that we set before starting a certain challenging project. We have to meet the given goals. No guts, no glory.

It is a dream – we dream to realize that it can be done or it can happen if we work for it – if we are only dreaming with realization, then just stay on your bed and dream the rest of your life.

It is a sacrifice – we have to be ready on what is going to happen. We sacrifice without asking something in return.

It is love – we are still here because of the love. Life won’t be like what we are now without love.

In the course of performing all of these, we take note that we can commit mistakes – it is just normal. Every mistake good or bad, we learn from them.

Here are other quotes about life that will inspire you.

If you live long enough, you’ll make mistakes. But if you learn from them, you’ll be a better person. It’s how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit. William J. Clinton

The truth is you don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow. Life is a crazy ride, and nothing is guaranteed. Eminem

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. Soren Kierkegaard

Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking. Marcus Aurelius

In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years. Abraham Lincoln

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. George Bernard Shaw

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. John Quincy Adams

You don’t need to be a manager of the company or an organization. You don’t need to be the class president in your university. You don’t need to be a team leader to lead the team of 15 direct reports. You don’t need to a leader of the pack, to command.

Leaders are people the powerful entity in an organization, rank and file look up to them – to you.

If you can influence people with your correct act within your organization then you can a good leader. I always hear the phrase, “a good leader, is a good follower”.

Start it in your own way – follow rules and you will be respected. If not, you don’t get possible outcome of what your goals are.

I have remembered the answer to the Miss Universe 2012 question. Janine’s answer was about influencing other people – by this statement, she was delivering the message that if you can move people to follow you – then you can be a leader.

I have seen a different posters about a leader and a boss. I know for sure you have seen that too.

Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things. Peter Drucker

A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. John C. Maxwell

A good leader takes a little more than his share of the blame, a little less than his share of the credit. Arnold H. Glasow

If you belong to the management and lead a group of people, you can definitely relate to these quotes that I borrowed from Brainyquotes. A leader don’t take too much of the credit when the team is successful but rather keep it to himself. But when the team isn’t performing, he gets all the blame.

It is worth the while to live respectably unto ourselves. We can possibly get along with a neighbor, even with a bedfellow, whom we respect but very little; but as soon as it comes to this, that we do not respect ourselves, then we do not get along at all…

To educate yourself for the feeling of gratitude means to take nothing for granted, but to always seek out and value the kind that will stand behind the action. Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course. Everything originates in a will for the good, which is directed at you. Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything.

Now the alternative to despair is courage. And human life can be viewed as a continuous struggle between these two options. Courage is the capacity to affirm one’s life in spite of the elements which threaten it. The fact that courage usually predominates over despair in itself tells us something important about life. It tells you that the forces that affirm life are stronger than those that negate it.

Paul E. Pfuetze

There is a courage of happiness as well as a courage of sorrow.

Alfred Adler
True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the courage to surpass others at whatever cost, but the courage to serve others at whatever the cost.

Arthur Ashe

Love is the most difficult and dangerous form of courage. Courage is the most desperate, admirable and noble kind of love.

Delmore Schwartz

Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to the end, requires some of the same courage which a soldier needs.

Ralph Waldo Emerson
Philosopher, Poet, Author, Essayist
We must have the courage to bet on our ideas, to take the calculated risk, and to act. Everyday living requires courage if life is to be effective and bring happiness.

Maxwell Maltz

Courage is about doing what you’re afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you’re scared.

Eddie Rickenbacker

The stories of past courage…can teach, they can offer hope, they can provide inspiration. But they cannot supply courage itself. For this each man must look into his own soul.

John F. Kennedy

Be fearless. Have the courage to take risks. Go where there are no guarantees. Get out of your comfort zone even if it means being uncomfortable. The road less traveled is sometimes fraught with barricades bumps and uncharted terrain. But it is on that road where your character is truly tested. And have the courage to accept that you’re not perfect nothing is and no one is — and that’s OK.

Appreciate Nature

How do you get back to nature? Do you appreciate nature? We have come to the point where we experience different types of natural calamities. We come to a point where we realize how cruel human can be to our nature. There are a lot of issues – flood, soil erosion, problems with waste disposal. Air pollution due to smoke belchers and factories.

What we plant is what we harvest (in abundance). What we sow, we reap.

Wildness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from.
