The latest update for Street Fighter V has dropped for PS4 and PC users, with Guile being included in the update as part of a free trial for for players who don’t have the season pass up until Capcom gets the cash shop up and working.
Season pass holders will get their hands on Guile for free, indefinitely. They don’t have to worry about paying Fight Money or scrounging through the Story Mode or the online fights to make enough cash to pay for the character. You can see Guile and his moveset in action with a gameplay video below from Gamescity Brasil.

Guile, his stage and his challenges is available now and when the free trial ends both him and Alex will cost players 70,000 Fight Money each.
Guile and Alex will be joined later this year by the likes of Ibuki, Juri, Urien and Balrog.
I don’t know how well PR Balrog will deal with having to play Street fighter V in most of the tournaments without Balrog, but I guess he has to make due with one of the other fighters on the roster as his main.
And speaking of competitive play, Capcom plans to do something about Rage Quitters. As mentioned in the press release…
“[…] included in today’s Street Fighter V update is the first implementation of a system to punish players who frequently disconnect during matches (aka rage quitters). The system will continue to be refined over time and more enhancements will be implemented in the future.”
Oh, so poor losers can’t just quit when they’re getting whooped like Fchamp regularly gets whooped by Justin Wong? Nice.
They also refined the matchmaking, performance and balancing of the online fights as well, and they will continue to do so throughout the competitive fighting game season heading toward EVO.
You can grab a physical or digital copy of Street Fighter V right now for the PlayStation 4, or a digital copy for PC. Sorry to say, but Xbox One owners were left out in the cold on this one.
