Go Go Burunyanman Ecstasy!!! Lands On Greenlight; Will Be Censored On Steam

Go Go Burunyanman Ecstasy!!! might be coming to Steam soon. This Bullet-hell shoot’em up appears to have started as a potable handheld game for Sony’s PSP, but DigitalCute is now looking to bring the title to PC.

I wouldn’t exactly consider this to be my type of game, but I know there are people out there that love Shoot’em ups and Japanese Loli style ecchi art, and you get both of those things in Go Go Burunyanman Ecstasy!!!. However, the Steam version — like most other games that have adult content on Steam, will be censored and have all “explicit content” removed from the game.

The developers say that this version will be for all age windows, and not just mature audiences. I’m sure that this comes as no surprise because Steam has been censoring visual novels and other similar content for years now, so this was to be expected.

If you played the PSP version or perhaps you simply want to play because you enjoy the game, the cute artwork, and enjoy bullet-hell shooters, then this might still be for you. You can check out the gameplay video that I linked down below that showcases some of the chaotic shooter elements, as well as a boss battle at the end that gives a small peek at the images you unlock for winning battles.

The developers say that Go Go Burunyanman Ecstasy!!! will have simple controls made for beginners, but a challenge that pros can enjoy as well. Players will be able to collect achievements and medals, and compete in a ranking system with other players around the world to get the top high score, with a specific “Ecstasy” game mode that is all about chaining combos to rack up a crazy high score.

Although the game will be censored and will have all explicit content removed, there are fans asking if there will be a way to unlock the 18+ content from the original version. I’m sure that there is a hacker out there somewhere already working on a patch to do just that. For now, you can head on over to the Steam Greenlight page if you would like to cast your vote to see the PC Steam version of the game.
