Gears Of War 4 Trailer Sees Marcus Fenix As A Family Man

The Coalition and Microsoft released the new trailer for Gears of War 4 during the season premiere of Fear The Walking Dead. The trailer is a short 59 second promo piece juxtaposing Marcus Fenix planting trees with images of his son, grown and ‘roided up, blasting down trees while on the run.

GamesPrey caught wind of the new trailer, as it highlights the dangerous new enemies that threaten humanity. There’s no narrative voice over or distinctive teleplay at work, just a cover of Simon and Garfunkle’s “The Sound of Silence”. It tries hard to capture the magic of “Mad World” from back in 2006, but that original trailer still stands the test of time as being both eerily creepy and awesomely cool. You can check out the teaser trailer below.

Tomorrow Trailer of Gears of War 4.

I can’t help but notice how stubby Marcus looks in the trailer. For some reason he appears to have shrunk and widened.

Some people are questioning if he’s even with Anya or if that’s some other woman. Given that they appear to have changed how the original characters look, I honestly don’t know if that’s her or not.

For some reason they just look so stoutly in that trailer above…if it wasn’t for the bandana and goatee I may not have recognized Marcus.

Marcus and crew have always been a ‘roided up refrigerators, but usually they don’t look like they’re the size of Hornswaggle.

Anyway, the teaser trailer is basically to hold gamers over for another week until the limited, closed multiplayer beta commences for Gears of War 4.

The third-person shooter is due to drop this fall on October 11th. The game will supposedly be exclusive to the Xbox One. Some of the new features include a shoulder tackle and the oftentimes mentioned vault-kick. We’ll see if they have anything new to showcase during the beta test.
