Well, Witcher fans that feel dry and rusted will be able to wield their weapons once more, and venture again as Geralt in the upcoming DLC — Blood and Wine. According to a tweet that the devs sent out, the game’s DLC will unveil the realm of Toussaint and the perils that lie ahead.
If you haven’t completed the original adventure of the Witcher 3 or the Hearts of Stone DLC, it’s best to do so now if you want to prepare yourself for the upcoming DLC Blood and Wine. It’s also worth noting that the DLC was announced sometime back last year, and finally has new information waiting to seep out in May, according to the most recent tweet that CD Projekt Red posted on Twitter.
Although we don’t know that much about what will await in what is said to be the last adventure for Geralt, a nice batch of screenshots do tell us a good portion of what’s to come. Moreover, the second edition will imbue players in the land of Toussaint, which is under Anna Henrietta’s supervision.
Additionally, a specific location was revealed entitled Beauclair. The area resembles a garden-like atmosphere with bright and vivid colors surrounding the restaurant location. The other places that are revealed in the screenshots show strange environments with huge mushrooms, and other counterparts that could be potential romance candidates for Garelt.

Thanks to CD Projekt Red’s Community Manager Marcin Momot, you can read the official notice explaining what fans can expect in the coming future.
“I can already tell you Blood and Wine is a fascinating story, with every sort of twist and turn you’d expect from our writers. Toussaint, the new realm we’re creating for the expansion, is unlike anything you’ve seen in Wild Hunt – carefree and colorful, but your gut never stops telling you that there’s some real dark stuff happening underneath all that. We’ll be revealing more information in May, however, to sweeten the wait, here are some fresh screenshots from the expansion!”
As of now, the Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt and Hearts of Stone are out now for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. If you are still hard up for more information pertaining to Blood and Wine, you can hit up the Witcher’s official site.
