The game with its ever speaking characters that almost talk for eternity finally received its launch trailer. The trailer that 2K Games and Gearbox released features all 25 characters, with comical scenes sprawled throughout. The new trailer isn’t as eye-catching as the bootcamp video, but it does show off the huge cast of characters in a compilation of many scenes. Battleborn will be available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on May 3rd.
To be honest, I would like to see Gearbox make another entry into the Brothers in Arms series instead of another Borderlands-like spin-off, better known as Battleborn. However, I do have to say that the game does contain some interesting stuff, although I wouldn’t say that I’m too excited for this game.
Something that it does have going for it is that all 25 characters have dedicated content geared toward them, like special weapons and abilities, as well as a story mode for each of them. And from the looks of it, the story mode (from my understanding) provides more than just one stage for each character.
Additionally, this is joined by the multiplayer that allows for both PvP and PvE. Moreover, players will be able to play online with friends or with enemies, or take it local with co-op or PvP. This will obviously shake up the boring non-stop PvP or PvE syndrome of hours after hours of doing the same thing since folks will be able to opt out for a story mode while playing as their favorite character, or hop into the arena with players around the world for added fun.
Although the game looks a little obnoxious to me with the overly loud and active characters that need some Ritalin, it does promise some interesting alternate features that doesn’t rely on just one thing. With that said, the trailer below doesn’t seem to address the above properly in showing PvP, PvE, individual character stories, local play, online multiplayer modes and other various fundamentals that go into the core game, which I find strange since this is the launch trailer.
Anyways, if you want to see the minute and a half long trailer you can check it below, courtesy of Battleborn‘s official YouTube channel.
