Bandai Namco Releases English Trailer For Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization

Bandai Namco recently got around to releasing an English version of the trailer “Who is Premiere,” for Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, which arrived sometime last week over in Japan. The video dives into other characters personalities, alongside Premiere and her mysterious presence, and some of the gameplay features.

As noted by Bandai Namco themselves, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will launch for PS4 and the PS Vita on October 27th in Japan, this year. As for a western release, folks will have to wait until the Fall to play the JRPG on the PS4 or PS Vita.

Looking back last week, folks in Japan were treated to a limited edition version of SAO, which granted the typical illustrated box art, soundtrack CD and a poster, among a few other things. Arriving a few days after that news, the developers released the latest English trailer that provides additional information pertaining to the characters, the world and the story behind the game.

You can watch the near four-minute long trailer that Bandai Namco posted to its YouTube channel, which covers character creation, exploration and battles.

For those that don’t know, Hollow Realization is set in the world of Sword Art: Origins. This reveals characters like Strea, Philia and the mysterious character (or NPC) Premiere, who are joined by Kirito and Asuna. The story starts off in the Town of Beginnings, which Bandai Namco noted to offer even more locations to the game for added excitement.

In addition to the environment, there will be different locations like grasslands that will lead to other areas like oceans, and so on. These locations will contain enemies like Jelly Floaters, Shadow Demons, and other various creatures according to the world of SOA.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is slated to be available for both PS4 and PS Vita on October 27th in Japan, and will hit the west sometime in the Fall.
