The game isn’t just about building big guns and fighting off the attacks wishing to destroy the city, a large portion of the game will also revolve around city resource management. This will see players having to acquire and balance their resource budget while constantly looking to upgrade and fortify their city.

It’s a fine balance between trying to be a big, bad, blasting city block and trying to ensure that the people are safe and well taken care of.

The game reminds me a little bit of Muv-Luv, a small piece of Earth Defense Force and a hint of Attack on Titan. The lighthearted anime feel and bright visuals help keep things from being too grim, but the battles look as if they can get pretty intense and the story-oriented missions will help keep players glued to the screen as they unlock up to 50 different units and continue to blast through the various enemy types.

In addition to growing the city, battling invaders and progressing through the story, there are additional teammates that cna be unlocked as well that will join you in your fight for survival. Each teammate brings something new to the table, as well as offering advice on the different weapons and arsenal required to take out the baddies.
