Senran Kagura Estival Versus Trailer Previews The Very Jiggly Shinobi Fighters

XSeed Games released a new trailer for the upcoming Senran Kagura Estival Versus. The trailer arrives just ahead of the game’s launch on March 15th next week for the PS4 and PS Vita.

The trailer showcases the various female shinobi from the Hanzo National Academy. The trailer gives a brief vignette of Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Yagyu and Hibari. You get to see some of their fighting moves on display, as well as their viciously dangerous curves that, at times, appear to defy the laws of gravity. You can check out the trailer below.

SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS – Hanzo Trailer

LAUNCHES 3/15/2016 The high-flying, high-bouncing ninja girls of SENRAN KAGURA return, this time with more moves, more playable characters, more story and attitude, and more destruction online with matches that can support up to 10 players (PS4 version only; PS Vita supports up to 4 players).

The combat in the game is actually a pretty strong highlight. While games like Dead or Alive can oftentimes get overshadowed by the boobs, Senran Kagura has some really solid gameplay mechanics underneath with a combo and special system that some might even argue is most in-depth and hardcore than the one Omega Force features in Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors series.

Yes, Senran Kagura is more than just T&A and a big display of fan-service, there’s actual gameplay depth involved.

It’s funny because the Social Justice Warriors really don’t like Senran Kagura, even though the title is more than just fan-service. One of the Treehouse members who used to work at Atlus actually suggested to them not to localize the Senran Kagura games. He went on to butcher Fire Emblem Fates along with the rest of Nintendo’s Treehouse.

In this case, Senran Kagura Estival Versus actually features an all-female cast who are more than just the sum of their boobs, but characterization, gameplay and mechanical depth mean nothing to the Social Justice Warriors. Basically it boils down to them not liking sexy games and wanting heterosexual males to suffer due to their own inadequacies in life.

Anyway, if you enjoy beat-’em-up games with Musuo style attacks and you want to add some undeniably delectable fan-service on top of that, you can look for Senran kagura Estival Versus to launch on the PS4 and PS Vita starting March 15th. The game will be available for $49.99 on the PS Vita and $59.99 on the PS4.

  1. One of the Treehouse members who used to work at Aksys actually suggested to them not to localize the Senran Kagura games.

That just fucking sums them up doesn’t it.

They must be in absolute tears when they have to localize games they detest. Which then of course leads to their bitter, hateful and corrupt censoring during the process.

Their job is to translate, NOT edit. Why are these people allowed to work there?

    1. The videogame industry is becoming a very paranoid world. Ideas and game mechanics can be stolen with such ease that upper management relies more and more on the “Better the devil you know (than the devil you don’t)” attitude.

Plus, gaming sites have proven one important thing: While they are useless to drive game sales, they are very capable of running them to the ground.

This here is what gets to me. A site like Polygon or Kotaku does crap-all for boosting sales but they can easily bury a dev, a Kickstarter, an indie game or a mid-sized game with some made up bullcrap.

  2. Pre ordered the shit out of it. I rarely buy Japanese games but this looks like fun and I do like me some good titty physics!

  3. It’s funny, but I always thought that Senran Kagura is way more overshadowed with boobs (or, in this case, with fanservise in general) than Dead or Alive (main series of course, not Xtreme series, but in Xtreme it’s not a issue).
