You can check out a trailer below to get an idea of what the gameplay and visual art-style is like.
Leap of Fate is a furiously-paced cyberpunk roguelite about overcoming your fears and achieving your fate. In a New York City where magic is real, you play as a technomage who must develop unspeakable powers to confront the Crucible of Fates. Can you survive the trials?
It’s possible to control one of the four different technomages in the game, including Aeon the shadow made, Big Mo the cyborg technomancer, Mukai the spirit channeler, and Rasimov the rogue occultist.
Each character has their pros and cons and it’s up to players to build and shape the characters into the cyberpunk badass that fits their play-style.
The early reviews for the game are all mostly positive. There is someone who didn’t like Leap of Fate due to the in-game play being restricted to a 4:3 aspect ratio while the cut-scenes are 16:9, creating a huge disparity in the screen real estate for gameplay. Other than that, most of those who purchased the title appear to enjoy the setting, the atmosphere, the gameplay and the story.
You can get your hands on Leap of Fate right now by picking up a digital copy from the Steam store for only $15.99. However, for the first week of being on sale you can get the game for 15% off the standard price.
