Dying Light: The Following Brings Four Community Maps Across PC And Consoles

Fans of Dying Light: The Following will have something to look forward to with the latest patch that brings PC, PS4 and Xbox One players the ability to play community made maps. The newest maps that will be included are Under the City, Climb Down, The Hunter and TeeVee.

Dying Light is a pretty fun game, and with the most recent expansion to the brutal survival game, it brought folks an extended amount of content; and now The Following gets even more content with community made maps. To appreciate the fans that play and create for the zombie survival game, the devs have put together a new trailer to show fan made maps. You can read the description for the maps below:

“Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition has just grown even bigger! The latest content update, available for download right now, brings four new community maps to all Dying Light players free of charge.”

To get these four new community maps for free all players have to do is download Dying Light: The Following’s latest update, and this will open up access to Under the City, Climb Down, The Hunter and TeeVee.

Like always, the devs uploaded this video to the game’s YouTube channel, and can be seen below.

The stages also arrive with descriptions themselves, which the first stage is noted to be a choice-based horror story with different paths to take. Climb down takes on a more parkour arcade design, while The Hunter puts players skills to the test with a horde of zombies in a forest while surviving. And lastly, TeeVee is noted to be a “visual nightmare” best played in the dark.

Since I haven’t played any of the maps I don’t know if they are good or not, but to see the devs giving player made maps trailers and promoting them is pretty cool, and is good way to encourage both old and new players to make custom content for the game.

Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition is now available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
