Demons, Power-ups and Weapons sound like a good mix in a new DOOM game, which is featured in the latest Doom trailer that Bethesda released to the public to view. Getting knee-deep in the dead, the latest trailer whips out several classic weapons including the BFG and more, and will be available to play on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 13th.
Folks waiting for the new edition of DOOM, which arrives years after DOOM 3, will be able to get their hands on it this May. While we wait for the initial release, Bethesda has been releasing new trailers showing the game shaping up to be a gruesome entry into the series, and definitely won’t hold back on the blood and gore, even in PvP.
The trailer reveals that there will be four different demons to become in multiplayer, although we only get to see two in the trailer. From splitting UAC soldiers in half as the Baron of Hell, or bashing their heads up against a rock as a Prowler, we do know that the other two, from previous trailers, include the Revenant and the Mancubus. These pickups will obviously add an upper hand to whoever picks them up, but I’m pretty sure they’ll be random on pickup and will be scatter across the map.
Looking over to the power-ups, the standard invisibility made its way onto the field and is accompanied by a new power-up — quad damage. As the name suggest, this will inflict four times the amount of damage to your opponents, similar to the original berserk pack, which it looks like the quad damage works with melee finishers as well.
All the gruesome deaths, weapons, and power-ups can be seen in the latest trailer below, courtesy of Bethesda Softworks‘ official channel.
