Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 Momiji Trailer Focuses On Gripping Accessories

One of the character profile trailers for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 focuses on Momiji, the 21-year-old raven-haired fighter who shows off her athletic abilities and curves in the upcoming beach volleyball game.

The trailer also shows off a few of the bikini options in the title, which includes some bra accessories with small gripping hands on them. I can only imagine how many gamers would love to have their own hands where those little plastic appendages are located. You can check out the silly top in the trailer below, courtesy of Eurogamer Portugal.

In addition to seeing some of the risque bikini outfits on display, we also see more of the soft-body physics on display. The bouncing, moving, smushing skin movements are part of the top draw of the trailer, where Momiji makes specific movements that really highlights the Soft Engine’s capabilities.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 has really faded out of view of controversy after the initial news that it wasn’t coming to the West. So far Koei Tecmo seems to be pleased with the import attention they’ve received but they really made the move to avoid getting embroiled in the current hot-topic gender politics debate that has overtaken a lot of the media in the West.

So far the only thing gamers are talking about regarding the mini-game-filled, tropical getaway title is that they wish some of their favorite Dead or Alive stars were in the game from the start. Most expect that the additional characters will be made available by DLC.

I can easily imagine Koei making a killing on the DLC sales, but the lack of launching the game in the proper regions in the West may impede some players when it comes to making DLC purchases on an account outside of the designated region. We’ll see how it all works out after the game releases this March on the 24th.
