Lost Echo is an interesting mobile adventure game developed by KickBack Studios, with a surreal story and high quality visuals to help immerse you into the game world of this puzzle mystery point and click game.
Lost Echo was originally released about two years ago for Apple iOS, but it has recently been updated to appear for Android devices as well. Lost Echo is a surreal puzzle adventure game that reminds me a lot of Quantic Dream’s video game, Indigo Prophesy (also known as Fahrenheit), because of its visual art style and what appears to be a unique mind-bending storyline that will make you question what exactly is going on in the world.
Lost Echo‘s story is really enigmatic, as the trailer and description reveal almost nothing about the game or what the characters are doing, which I suppose makes sense because the developers don’t want to spoil the ending.
Lost Echo appears to be some type of love story detective mystery that takes place in a slightly futuristic world. I linked to Lost Echo‘s official trailer down below that showcases a little bit about what the game is like. The first trailer is the original launch trailer for iOS a few years ago, and the second video was just posted on November 10th for the Android release.

Lost Echo is now available on Android, with 9 localizations! In the near future Greg’s girlfriend Chloe mysteriously disappears in front of him. He starts a desperate search for her. What happened? Why does no-one else remember her? Solve puzzles, explore fully 3d environments, interact with numerous characters and solve the mystery!
Two things I noticed that I found a bit cool about the two trailers is that the first moves forward while the music plays and escalates in the background with a trippy feeling as the protagonist continuously moves forward and progresses through different environments. The second trailer moves the camera backwards, transitioning from scene to scene and going back to the start until it shows us the title of the game.
Lost Echo is a point and click mobile game with surprisingly nice visual graphics to be made for Smartphone devices, but the most impressive feature is probably the amazing soundtrack and music that plays throughout the game.
The developers of the game at Kickback Studios have said in the game’s description that Lost Echo has a custom made soundtrack to match every scene in the game, and that Lost Echo also has two different game modes, normal and casual, to help new players to the genre adjust to playing and find their way around.
Furthermore, Lost Echo introduces the players to numerous characters, puzzles and a variety of mini games for you to playthrough while trying to solve the mystery, as well as multiple choice questions and interactions to help you choose how the story unfolds.
I watched a few gameplay videos and I must say that the game is quite intriguing and looks interesting. If you are interested in playing the game you can visit the official website at Kickback-studios.com, or buy the game from the iTunes store for iOS devices, and the Google Play store for Android phones.
