Batman: Arkham Knight Season Of Infamy DLC Available With 2008 Batsuit

The Season of Infamy DLC for season pass holders is now available, featuring four new story-oriented missions, the 2009 Batmobile from Batman: Arkham Asylum, the 2008 Batsuit from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight, a special Rocksteady skin for the MK.II Batmobile and some crime fighter challenge packs.

Blues posted the press release where it states…

“Play as Batman in the Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion, protecting Gotham City from an invasion of legendary Super-Villains. Fight back against The Dark Knight’s biggest foes in four separate missions, with all new story arcs featuring DC Comics characters The Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, Ra’s Al Ghul and Mr. Freeze.”

The DLC for the season pass was released for home consoles and PC with a promo trailer that you can check out below.

Batman: Arkham Knight December DLC Trailer

Play as Batman in the Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion, protecting Gotham City from an invasion of legendary Super-Villains. Fight back against The Dark Knight’s biggest foes in four separate missions, with all new story arcs featuring DC Comics characters The Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, Ra’s Al Ghul and Mr. Freeze.

Warner Bros turning off the comments to avoid being flamed for releasing a broken product? That’s like Twitter censoring people from pointing out that Sarah Butts is known in some circles as being an incestuous pedophile.

Anyway, Mr. Freeze’s enviro-suit actually looks really cool. I like the way some of the designs of the characters are implemented into the game with story-oriented aesthetics. Mr. Freeze’s suit is in direct relation to the events that occurred in Batman: Arkham City.

One of the biggest additions to the Season of Infamy DLC is that Rocksteady Studios managed to include the 2008 Batsuit that Christian Bale wore in Christopher Nolan’s film The Dark Knight. The really crazy part about it is that according to game director Sefton Hill, it took the crew from Legendary Pictures 16 through 18 weeks to build the suit from scratch. It took Rocksteady several weeks to translate every “nut and bolt” into Batman: Arkham Knight.

Batman: Arkham Knight

It would be pretty cool driving around in the Tumblr with the 2008 suit, doing the Wonderland, Beneath the Surface, Shadow War and In From The Cold missions. Talk about serious Batman role-playing.

Anyway, this DLC looks pretty cool and if WB Games didn’t screw the pooch by ravaging the rectum of the Glorious PC Master Race with a piss-poor port of Batman: Arkham Knight I’m sure a lot of gamers would be reeling at how much cool content is included in this latest DLC pack. However, greed got the best of Warner Bros., and instead of listening to QA and delaying the game for PC so that it could be a right proper release, they decided to push it out onto the market and suffer the consequences of more negative reviews than all of Adam Sandler’s and Steven Seagal’s latest movies combined.

If you have the season pass the Season of Infamy DLC is available right now. If you’re playing on PC, Warner Bros., is still trying to fix the game like surgeons are still trying to fix Mickey Rourke’s face. The latest update fixes some graphical corruption and other effects plaguing the PC version. You can check out the latest changelog over on the Steam update page.

Maybe next time Warner Bros. Entertainment will listen to the QA testers, instead of throwing out a broken game and getting spanked in negative user reviews and refunds all year long. And then they won’t have to disable comments on the YouTube page.

  1. how big are the chances for a GOTY version? cause i’m kinda waiting for it this new age trend off Non stop DLC kinda makes me tired cause now you pay double the game for crap DLC.

    1. Sounds like they have plans for a second season of DLC. They just keep saying that the Season of Infamy is the final DLC for 2015. So um… yeah.

If they’re super-greedy mofos then expect them to pull a Gearbox and make a GOTY edition that doesn’t include all the DLC. That’s what happened with Borderlands 2. If they’re not super-greedy mofos they’ll finish the second season of DLC and then do a complete GOTY edition at the end of 2016.

      1. well atleast it’s mostly single player so i can wait for it forever, if i recall Dying light GOTY version is coming if i recall february?

      2. It’s the Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition. New levels, new areas, new content and stuff. It’s a DLC pack but it almost feels like a whole new game.

      3. So basicly not the main game that was released?
i basicly barely follow western games anymore considering they get cut up in so many pieces i´d be able to buy about 4 full japanes games for them.

Sadly anime publishers lately have been doing some disgusting underhanded tactics themselves.
just a question got any idea who i should contact at bandai namco if i would want some real anwsers?

      4. It’s true Yank games are more cut up into more DLC

        pieces than Michael Jackson’s nose.

As for Bandai Namco… the closest they have for customers communicating with them is using the support form here: https://www.bandainamcoent.com/company/support.html

When you mention anime publishers doing some disgusting underhanded tactics… do you have any examples? I can possibly check into it.

      5. Well sadly most fans woulden’t call it underhanded tactics. but it’s mostly how certain publishers shaft europe with digital releases that’s why i’m trying to get some usefull info from bandai namco. and i’d like a awnser if they actually will improve their translation for once.

Ni no kuni was nothing more then it’s english dub as translation and if you know even a bit off japanese you’ll know how bad the translation was. the imbecile ADMIN from their european forum is beyond useless getting anwsers wether or not the second game would improve or another lame ass translation like the first game. he gave me the twitter from the director for the game and that guy works for LEVEL-5 he got like zero invoice on it’s western release.

And the ToZ stuff with alisha was just false marketing there is so much proof that he flipped the switch and changed it half way through yet they still marketed alisha as the main heroine. Hideo baba lame explanation off it was kinda sad.

even the guy from Bandai namco who does the european playstation blog is a joke 2 anwsers and they only at bullshit remarks the real question all get ignored i can only hope my post get through considering i’m blacklisted on sony european blog.

seriously whatever happend to game media doing the hardcore questions instead off the ass kissing stuff.

Till now the only sites that covered the Censorship off games is this 1 and Niche gamer.

O ya thanks for the link i’ll be annoying them thoroughly till i get my anwsers.

      6. seriously whatever happend to game media doing the hardcore questions instead off the ass kissing stuff.

The entire top half of your comment could be rectified if we had proper press working on behalf of gamers. They’re literally supposed to get the answers for the questions you have.

I’ll be upfront about this now: I’m a black mark on the industry because of the GJP stuff and aligning with a supposed “hate mob”. However, I will reach out to Bandai Namco and ask about the English translation.

You want to know specifically about the English translation for certain European regions?

      7. it’s more that they would stop making stuff up like they did with Tales of Hearts R majority off text was just made up and like with Ni no kuni lazy ass translation just taking english dub and making it text form which doesen’t even get close to what is actually being said. i’m curious if they keep doing that with their future releases cause if so i’ll stop buying their games i haven’t bought any off their games day1 anymore cause i can’t get a straight anwser.

And unlike all these morons these days that won’t take a stand is why we get so many horrible products these days.

They should take a damn example at marvelous entertainment or idea factory that actually listens.
europe now get’s nearly all their games digital and when asked if they would do physical releases on pre-orders they act like we would buy it anyway or else no more western releases. while basicly they have little choice nowadays considering ps4 is selling 10 times better west then in japan.
