During the Tokyo Game Show, Dynasty Warriors 8 was announced for the PS Vita. It was originally released for the Xbox One, PS 3 and PS4, however the tactical horde fighting game will arrive on the portable PS Vita system on November 24th.
The long running series of Dynasty Warriors places players in strategic moments that often have you out numbered. I’ve played quite a bit of games depicting the events that took place during the three kingdoms era, which were pretty fun, but I think that Dynasty Warriors’ dramatic take on the story really adds some flare to it.
Although these series of games by Koei Tecmo can get very repetitive fast, I do like facing hordes of enemies and using various of unique weapons in the series, which makes the games pretty interesting. However, the latest version of Dynasty Warriors 8 will come to the handheld portable Vita by November 24th, 2015 as a digital only release.
According to publication site The Sixth Axis, the eighth version will contain all DLC previously on console versions, and will even have a new co-op mode. In addition, you will be able to use the cross save feature and touch screen functions…
“The game will come with all of the DLC previously available on the console versions, cross save and cross play, touch screen functions, and a new co-op ad-hoc mode.”
Looking over to Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors new website for the PS Vita, the site explains quite a bit of the game’s features and what players can do with the touch screen. Folks can now call in horses and even activate their RAGE state with the touch display capabilities, as noted below…
“Actions such as calling your horse and activating a Rage state can be controlled by using the front touchscreen. All the input for Stratagems, from selecting cards to their execution, can also be performed by touch controls. These new intuitive controls are only playable on the PS Vita version.”
In addition, the game will let you use upgrades and experience new modes and features, this includes 83 different playable characters, changing the weather, fighting across 40 different stages, a day and night system, character and horse customization and much more. The official site lists all of the game’s features if you’re interested.
Dynasty Warriors 8 will be available for the PS Vita on November 24th, 2015. If you want more details on the PS Vita version, you can head on over to the game’s main website.
