Bastion Will Land On PS Vita Later This Year

The popular adventure game Bastion by Supergiant Games, was the developers first action role-playing game to receive a lot of attention for its unique design and story, in which players had to battle for civilization’s last refuge while a mysterious narrator notes their every move. However, the devs did note in a tweet that the game will expand beyond PC, and Xbox 360 and on to the PS Vita.

The artistic game by Supergiant Games, Bastion, will land on the PS Vita near the end of 2015. This will mark another platform the action-adventure RPG will arrive on, although the team didn’t give an initial release date, I Play PS Vita reported that it will launch before the end of 2015.

I know a lot of PS Vita fans will widely accept this beautiful game, from its passionate artistry to the unique watercolor aesthetics to the stirring soundtrack, and with that awesome narrator, I’m sure it will fit well on the handheld device. Speaking of the game coming to the PS Vita, Playstation updated their YouTube channel with a new trailer for PS4 and PS Vita, revealing that the game will arrive later in the year.

The devs also posted on Twitter that the PS Vita version will sport cross-buy with the Playstation 4. And if that’s not enough, the devs will have a playable demo which will be available at PAX Prime this weekend. I’m sure a lot of folks will be playing this during the event, which let’s you know that the devs did a good job when a game close to five years old still rings in a lot of new fans.

Bastion is an original action role-playing game set in a unique world of flying monoliths and temples, with a hand-painted 2D style that feature a unique battle system, which if you’re interested, can be gotten through Steam for $14.99, or if you are a PS Vita fan you can play it at PAX Prime or wait and get it later this year.
