Fans playing the Witcher 3 probably ran into quite a bit of glitches or parts of a mission that wouldn’t progress, this is said to be fixed with a new update entitled 1.07. At the moment, only select territories are able to download the new update, but a full worldwide roll out is said to arrive soon.
Folks waiting for this newest patch for the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt should be pleased to hear this news, many glitches were addressed and the game even obtained a frame-rate boost for the PS4. However, looking over some forums, fans can’t download the new update since the devs provided the update to select territories, but eventually the update will be released world-wide soon.
In addition, community manager Marcin Momot recently posted on Twitter that the patch will be available in the next 24 hours, which will arrive for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Although some folks have already gained access to it and seem quite glad about update 1.07, it should be noted that all players should receive the update in the next 24 hours, as noted below.
Patch 1.07 will be arriving on all platforms in the next 24h. Once it's live everywhere, we will officially announce it. #TheWitcher

The new update not only fixes several problems like typos and game performance, but also offers fans quite a bit of new content. Players will be able to store and get items out of a stash, which holds all sorts of weapons and equipment, and they will also be able to choose from a new alternative movement style for Geralt and much more.
Fans of the Witcher 3 will also receive free DLC, which will bring them a plethora of content and a new outfit for Ciri, although it won’t arrive this week but the week after, according to the Witcher’s main blog, which the devs noted that…
“Since it’s been all hands on deck working to finish and release this patch on time, we won’t be publishing a free DLC this week (don’t worry – free content comes back next week). We hope you understand our decision. We’ve gathered so much feedback from you over the past couple of weeks and we want to implement as much of it as possible. The full change list for the patch 1.07 will be coming later this week. Stay tuned for info about the release of the update itself.”
Looking back to the update, players of the PS4 can expect it to be around 7.544GB, while gaming site PlaystationLifeStyle noted that the Xbox One update stands around 7.3GB. Now I would list all of the new fixes that were implemented, but there is quite a bit. However, you can check them all out at their main site, and get all the dirty details that update 1.07 brings to the Witcher 3.
