If you can’t get enough of Elias Toufexis’ voice (you know, the guy who voices Adam Jensen, best known for saying “I never asked for this”) then you get to hear a whole lot more of him in a new pre-E3 hype video between him and lead art director on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, JJB.
The video is 15 minutes in total but it offers multiple choices in how the whole thing plays out, so depending on your choice depends on which segment of the video is played. It’s quite ingenious. However, I just watched all 15 minutes.
It’s almost E3! What do we have in store for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided? Play as Adam Jensen’s actor in this interactive video to find out! Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming August 23rd, 2016 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The part with the powerbar… that was just awkwardly hilarious.
Unfortunately not much was actually revealed in the video and the only thing gamers get to take away from it is listening to Toufexis for 15 minutes.
As for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the game is set to be on display at this year’s E3. In fact, the game will likely be a centerpiece for Square Enix’s efforts given that the company will be rolling out a full press conference at the event. The first time for the major Japanese game publisher and developer.
Square will be joined by other major companies rolling out press conferences, including Sony, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Bethesda. Nintendo has opted to exchange their press conference for a a Nintendo World Championship tournament, but they will still have a Nintendo E3 Direct, so gamers will be able to find out what new games are on the way and what they’re going to do.
As far as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided goes, the game is one of those hotly anticipated titles because Eidos decided to take their time with the sequel and spent many years attempting to do right by the highly lauded franchise.
