Mortal Kombat X All Fatalities Video Compilation

There’s a video compilation of all the Fatalities from each of the characters in Mortal Kombat X. The video contains 15 minutes of Fatalities; two Fatalities for each of the characters. Some of them are genuinely quite disturbing and it should go without saying that it’s not safe for work.

Out of them all, I would probably say that Mileena’s second Fatality and both of Ermac’s Fatalities are some of the most gruesome things I’ve ever seen. The video was put together by MKIceand Fire and you can check it out below. Obvious Fatality spoilers are obvious.

Mortal Kombat X All Fatalities – MKX Fatality Mortal Kombat X Gameplay

My goodness, Quan Chi’s Fatalities are so befitting to the character. Brutal but sadistic.

I was a little surprised with Jax… his Fatalities seem extremely mean spirited for his character. I was expecting more of that kind of brutality from Kotal Kahn. Only Kahn’s first Fatality seems befitting for the Outworlder. The second Fatality for Kahn is kind of “meh”. He just squeezes his opponent into a pulp and squeezes out their blood like juice from a squished grape.

I still can’t get over Kenshi’s main Fatality with the spinning blade. That one is so sick. His second Fatality is kind of David Cronenberg-esque, as he puppeteers opponents using the sinew from their rib and spinal cage. Gruesome.

The game is already filing in some fairly high-praise reviews from the usual suspects, but that also hasn’t stopped it from also receiving some early criticisms about the uber-gore and intense violence contained within the game.

CBC jumped in early with the cautious signs of potential moral panic brewing over Mortal Kombat X, but the Escapist has a counter-balance piece to help explain (or put into perspective) some of the outrage likely to boil over from NetherRealm Studios’ latest outing.

Personally, I’m still just shocked at how Mortal Kombat X gained a softer rating than Hatred. But, I guess that’s just sociopolitical media posturing at play. Mortal Kombat X is available starting April 14th for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

  1. The difference between MKX and Hatred is that MK is an established and loved franchise. Gaming journalists attacking it directly would show how full of shit they are. The SJW pick their battles and their indoctrination process is slow – thus they target smaller devs and games like Hatred and Senran Kagura.
