Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed To June 2nd, 2015

Batman Arkham Knight

Warner Bros. Entertainment made it known that the new Batman: Arkham Knight won’t be available in the early half of 2015 like we all originally thought. The game is being hit with the delay-hammer and won’t be available at a local retailer near you or a digital-distribution portal until June 2nd, 2015. It’s a good thing we have all this #GamerGate controversy to tide us over while we wait, am I right?

Everyone and their mother is reporting that Batman: Arkham Knight is being delayed. I couldn’t remember if the game was in the database at this website so figured if it wasn’t this would make for a good first entry, and if it is… well, the more the merrier, right?

Anyway, in addition to announcing the delay the company unveiled some details on the limited edition “Batmobile” edition, as outlined on Blues, which you can check out below.

Batman Arkham Knight Limited Edition

I’m not really fond of all the pre-order stuff, but I do like a good limited edition every now and then. The thing that always gets to me, though, is when the limited editions have a whole bunch of pre-order DLC attached instead of, I don’t know, actual limited edition collector’s items?

In this case, at least it looks as if Arkham Knight‘s limited edition will have some pretty neat stuff that collectors will want to keep on their shelves.

Anyway, you can learn more about the Batman: Arkham Knight game and limited collector’s edition by paying a visit to the official website. The game is due for release on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. No worries about the game being a cross-generational release.
