The Gears of War-esque third-person shooter from OG Planet called Dizzel is prepping for a new beta testing phase. Gamers will be able to get in some good licks and ticks against NPCs and other players in the competitive MMOTPS when the early access beta goes live for North Americans and Europeans next week on August 19th.
Dizzel has been one of those games where it was first announced and had some media momentum because it was – at one point – a one-of-kind online experience, sporting competitive and cooperative gameplay featuring fatalities, melee combat, long-range combat, cover-shooting mechanics and a variety of unique modes. Of course, over time there have been other titles that have bumbled, struggled, jumped, drove and crashed their way onto the scene to steal away some of the spotlight, including but not limited to games like GunZ 2: The Second Duel and APB: Reloaded, as well as Zombies, Monsters, Robots. It’s a much thicker and far more competitive online space for third-person shooters compared to when Dizzle first hobbled onto the scene as a somewhat novel approach to the Gears of War-style multiplayer shooter.
Nevertheless, OG Planet wants to still cash-in while the cashing in is good, and they’re prepping for the North American and European release this year, with another early access beta phase taking place just next week.
You can check out some of the gameplay for Dizzel with the trailer below.
Now if the action seems righteous and the concepts seem tight, you can get in on the game by registering for the beta, and find yourself entered for a chance to win a few free goodies along the way.
Dizzel also received a major update that includes a new female player-character and new weapons, maps and customizable gear.
