Ateneo Lady Eagles by nerdieeds
I can feel the excitement going to the Araneta Coliseum to witness the greatness of the UAAP Volleyball matches. For the fifth time in the history of UAAP, Ateneo and La Salle will battle again for the coveted crown.
Tomorrow is the first game of the best-of-two series. At 12 noon, the men’s match will air live on ABS-CBN Sports and Action followed by the women’s at 4 PM.
I have reserved seats for the 4 PM match. I planned to get a lower box seats but the online selling says no more available. I booked two Upper box tickets just to witness the live AGAIN.
I am excited and at the time nervous. I am excited to hear the thunderous applause and cheers of each sides. And to see the crowd sporting a blue and green shirts. I am planning to watch the men’s game but I will only buy tickets on-site. I will think about it. It is a separate ticket unlike the previous seasons, we were able to watch men’s and women’s in one ticket.
I like to hear the orchestrated cheer of the De La Salle side. And wish to hear loud cheer from the Ateneo side.
I already have the link to print my tickets on my inbox. Will have printed tomorrow. For now, I am watching their previous matches.
I am cheering for Ateneo to get the win against their rival La Salle. I am cheering for the ladies to have a good fight against the opponent. They are number 1 with 12-2 record. And La Salle has 11-3 win-loss record.
It will be again an exciting matching and a nerve-racking one. This time I will sitting on the Lady Eagles side. So more cheer from me. It was awkward last time because I was seated with the opponents’ side.
I am excited to see the finals game.
The epic battle will again begin on Saturday as Ateneo de Manila University battle for the 5th time their bitter rival De La Salle University in the women’s volleyball competition of the UAAP Season 78 finals.
Ateneo Lady Eagles and La Salle Lady Spikers will battle each other for 5 straight seasons. Each teams has a 2 win 2 loss record in the finals. Now it is time to break the time.
We are waiting for the tickets to be posted online but the ticketnet website is down. Where are we going to get our tickets now? Most definitely tickets are now distributed to the school administrators. What about the supporters and the volleyball sports-wannabe? Where do we get our tickets.
It is always an adventure reserving tickets online. When I go to the ticket booth, all I can see are the expectators waiting in a very long queue for tickets to be released. And ending up with an “upper box” or worst “general admission” tickets.
This is indeed the battle of all battles. Ateneo and La Salle are sure people magnets.
I am online now since 8 AM waiting for an announcement on Twitter but to no avail. Where can I get tickets – I don’t know anyone from Ateneo. I know someone but he is from De La Salle and he knows I support Ateneo. I can’t ask him to reserve a seat or two for me.
Site is still down. I think I am going to the ticket booth at the Araneta Coliseum, Cubao just to witness this two teams battle again – and to hear the noise of the snare drums from both sides.
My cousin will miss game 1 but she said she wants to watch the second game on Wednesday next week at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
It will be an excited match and an epic clash.
