I made a vegan pizza with the last gluten-free crust. I also finished the vegan tomato sauce from TJ Maxx. Then, I turned on the computer and did some blogging. All of the sudden, I started to hear clinking and clanking in the kitchen. I got up and noticed two small gray mice running back and forth on the counter, between items, and hiding underneath things. Where is Gumby? I keep calling Gumby, but I think he was taking a nap on the stairs. I didn’t want to catch them, and Gumby’s strategy is sitting quietly on the floor in the kitchen or hallway, waiting for them to come out and run on the floor so he can chase them. I went back to my computer until 5:30 pm; then, I decided to get ready for the 4-mile walking meetup. When I parked my care at Woodbridge Center, I noticed the time was 5:55 pm. It was a big group, and I was walking a fast pace. I remained at the front, most of the time, walking ahead of everyone. I suddenly looked down to notice a discarded fortune cookie message. I picked it up for fun and read it” “Opportunity knocks on your door every day—answer it.” I thought to myself, ‘Cool, but what opportunity is that because I am not noticing anything except meetups and local events. At 8:30 pm, I decided to go home because I didn’t feel like eating anything.

I arrived home to give Gumby some dry food. Then, I noticed that he was sitting quietly in the dark hallway waiting for something, until he slowly walked away after a while. The mice aren’t going into the Trap & Release box to eat the peanut butter. I made a cup of hot cacao with vegan mini marshmallows, and then I added a scoop of vegan ice cream. It was good.

I woke up at 7 am, drank a cup of Affogato Al Caffe, got ready for yoga, fed Gumby, and did some organizing.

After dropping by the post office, I went to yoga class, but the yoga instructor never showed up. One of the salesmen told us we can sign up for a free one-hour workout with a trainer. So, I put my name, number, and 1 pm to make an appointment. When I parked my car, the time was 11:11 am. By 12:12 pm, we all realized that no one was going to show up to teach the class. Then, I drove to South Coast Plaza, parked my car, and the walked to Best Buy store, across the street from the mall. I bought the refrigerator filter, and then drove to Mother’s Market, where I bought Gumby a large bag of litter as well as my vegan lunch because it was around 2:30 pm. I sat outside, people watching, as I ate one slice of raw vegan pizza and one vegan burger. The weather was warm but there was a soft breeze blowing, which was nice. I drove home to change my clothes and make a cup of Affogato Al Caffe.

He adds a fourth card on top of the Ace of Stone card, which is the Forest Lovers card, 6th card. You struggling will eventually lead you to love. Keep moving and pushing forward; and you will reach your destination by the end of the day and be very happy.

These 3 cards add up to 25, and the number 25 reduces to 7. The number 7 means mind and creativity. Be positive and move on.

When I got up from my computer, I walked into the living and I saw Gumby just sitting there by a very tiny gray and dead mouse. It was sad to the see the mouse dead, but it isn’t going for the Trap & Release method, where I have some healthy non-gmo and organic peanut butter waiting for them. Gumby just sat there, calmly and proud, next to the dead mouse, like it was his trophy kill. I just picked up the dead mouse with a paper towel, and threw it in the garbage. So far, he has called three mice. I wonder how much are left, or if the rest will get the message and escape via the same way that they entered.

  • I bet Gumby is feeling proud of his accomplishment. My cat brings mice to the patio. I guess he wants to share.

    • Fifi Leigh says:

he killed three so far. but i noticed one or 2 walking on the counter in the last couple of days. so, i dont know how many more there are. i think he just waits for them on the floor. he doesnt go up on the counter, like he used to.

      • My cat has become lazier with age. He’s not as small or as active as he once was. Oh.. by the way… I found that photo of the mouse in the live trap. I should write about it again and share it here. They work great.

        • Fifi Leigh says:

i dont want to kill the mice. they are just like annoying relatives that you hope will leave soon, and just wonder when or if ever they will ever leave.

my cat still has energy and he is playful. he just cant get at them. they are small and always hiding in things or behind or under things. so, he just sits there in the open space area, waiting for them to come running out.
