20 Minutes Exercise -Is it Enough?
Do you think 20 minutes a day exercise is enough?
The word exercise initially put everyone off the hook.
This is due to the fact that everyone , young and middle age people are too busy with his daily schedules.
First thing to know is, exercise doesn’t have to take much of your time, the most is 20 minutes unless you are willing, you could go further up to 1 hour.
I don’t go to the gym or use my strength on lifting up dumbbell or running on thread mill.
Don’t want to waste my money on these stuff.
I had seen my relatives and friends who often showed off their exercise equipment at home, flaunting their riches.
Initially, they may put themselves into the exercise regime approximate 1 hour daily but that lasted for 1-2 months.
As I had mentioned, all you need is 20 minutes a day of your time to exercise according to your preference.
Jogging , brisk walking, gardening and swimming ( if you know ) belonged to light weight category.
Furthermore you don’t have to spend money on these exercise , except the entrance fee for swimming at the community sport centre.
20 minutes per day of exercise is sufficient to maintain my stamina and I don’t feel the muscle aches when I perform any manual – physical tasks on certain circumstances ( such as moving the furniture, spring cleaning the whole house )
According to my regular clinic doctor advice, 20 minutes a day is sufficient to keep oneself fit and healthy.
Hence, this are the tasks I practice daily:
- Morning: Cleaning up the garden in 20 minutes
- Afternoon: Go to the grocery shop to buy bread or vegetables 20 minutes
- Evening : Take a 20 minute brisk walk along the neighborhood before dinner starts.
Hence, a total of 60 minutes of exercise was done in a blink which equals 1 hour of gym exercise, without spending any money ( except for the grocery )
However, you need to go on par with a healthy diet. There is no point to indulge yourself with high calorie food, heavy and fatty meal daily. No amount of exercise would outweigh your bad eating habits and unhealthy diet. You will be back in square one if both sides are imbalance.
One useful health tip that might help you out; keep practicing the same exercise regime as often as possible. In this way, you are able to keep your body used to practicing the same exercise over the time.
Hence, you won’t experience muscle cramps, muscle sores and irregular heart beat.
I wouldn’t advice you to try aerobic or cardio exercise for a starter.
It requires a maximum stretching, continuous and repeated form of body limbs workout which may strain yourself in an hour.
Anyway, 20 minutes of exercise will help you to burn calories daily which I believe anyone can do it too.
