The Corrs- In Blue
United States- The Corrs achieved mainstream success in America with the album “In Blue”, which went platinum there. But only one single really made it to the major chart. “Breathless” was their biggest hit in the country, but it failed to reach the top 10. It only peaked at number 34.
United Kingdom- With their success with their previous record “Talk On Corners”, The Corrs again achieved success from their LP “In Blue”. They had scored at least three singles to chart, but let’s see which song/s made it to the upper 10.
Breathless- #1
The Corrs only had one top 10 single from the album, but they at least scored their first ever number 1 hit with “Breathless”. Their follow-up singles “Irresistible” and “Give Me a Reason” only sat at number 20 and 27 respectively.
For the first time, The Corrs scored their first Billboard Hot 100 hit, as well as UK number 1 hit “Breathless”. It was also their biggest hit internationally. Enjoy the hit song by The Corrs below:
Breathless (Chorus)
So go on, go on, come on, leave me breathless
Tempt me, tease me, until I can’t deny
This loving feeling (loving feeling)
Make me long for your kiss
Go on (go on), go on (go on)
Yeah…
Come on
Yeah…
The Corrs- Borrowed Heaven
United States- The Corrs released the album in United States again but no single ever made to the Hot 100. At least, their single “Summer Sunshine” charted at the Adult Contemporary charts.
United Kingdom- The Corrs achieved minimal success from the album “Borrowed Heaven”. However, they had charted inside the top 10. Check what single is it:
Summer Sunshine- #6
Just like “In Blue”, the album only scored one top 10 hit through “Summer Sunshine”. But this song only peaked at number 6. “Angel”, the second single, peaked at number 16, while “Long Night” settled at number 31.
“Summer Sunshine” was the only top 10 hit off “Borrowed Heaven”. Internationally, it was also the biggest hit from the record. Try to check the song below:

In the heat of summer sunshine
