Album’s Singles Review: “Stripped” by Christina Aguilera

Stripped (album)
Prior to this album, Christina Aguilera released her self-titled debut album, a holiday album, and Spanish album. Because of her success, she released her second studio album which she had input her creativity on it and dumped her old sound to more urban sound and matured theme. “Stripped” did very well peaking at number 2 both in US and UK. The album initially didn’t do well but had a long chart success afterwards. It was certified by RIAA with 4x platinum, and 6x platinum by BPI.

Dirrty (ft. Redman)
“Dirrty” was the carrier single for “Stripped”. Christina Aguilera has thrown her sweet image to more provocative as shown in its music video. The song’s theme is even sexually provocative too. It became a hit in many countries reaching the top 10. It peaked at number 1 in UK, but failed at number 48 in the US.

“Fighter” was the third single from Christina Aguilera’s “Stripped”. The song’s sounds reminds me of En Vogue’s “Free Your Mind” because of its rock and R&B sound. It talks about being a fighter and cannot be put down. It became a hit worldwide reaching top 10 including UK where it reached the third position.
