The girls had two number 1 hits from the album, “Pure Shores” and “Black Coffee”. Internationally, the former was a bigger hit. In UK, “Pure Shores” also was better based on sales. The single was even awarded platinum by BPI. That’s why I had chosen the song to share. Personally, it is my favorite single from the album because it gave the girls a new sound, different from their past album. So I am sharing the song now, and I hope you will enjoy it.
Pure Shores (Chorus)
Can you hear, what I hear
It’s calling you my dear
Out of reach
(Take me to my beach)
I can hear it, calling you
I’m coming not drowning
Swimming closer to you

Saints and Sinners (album) All Saints took quite awhile to release their second album, which was released about 3 years after their debut album’s release. There are changes of sound in the album from their debut. “Saints and Sinners” has lots of electronic music which was similar to Madonna’s sound in her “Ray of Light” album. The album became the girls’ only number 1 album in United Kingdom and has gone 2x platinum by BPI.
“Pure Shores” is actually used for the movie “The Beach” which starred the talented Leonardo DiCaprio. It was eventually included for their album “Saints and Sinners”.
