Album’s Singles Review: “Monkey Business” by Black Eyed Peas

Black Eyed Peas had a successful breakthrough through their album “Elephunk”. They came back with the album “Monkey Business”. The album, as usual, was as ‘phunk’ as their previous album. It was very successful worldwide and even surpassed the sales of “Elephunk”. In the US, it reached number 3 nd awarded 4x platinum by RIAA.

Don’t Phunk With My Heart
“Don’t Phunk With My Heart” was released as the first single off “Monkey Business”. It is a combination of hip-hop and dance music. The song became an international success which peaked inside the top 10 worldwide. It peaked at number 3 in both United States and United Kingdom.

“Don’t Lie” has been the second single from “Monkey Business”. The song sounds a combination of hip-hop and carribean tune. It was a worldwide success as it peaked at the top 10. In UK, it reached number 6, while it settled at number 14 in US.

“My Humps” was the third single from Black Eyed Peas’ album “Monkey Business”. It is a hip-hop track with sexual themes. The song becamd the most successful single from the album. It went to number 1 in some countries, while it peakdd at number 3 both in US and UK.

“Pump It” has been the final official single of “Monkey Business. The hip-hop song did well reaching the top 10 in majority of countries. It reached number 3 in UK and top 20 on Billboard Hot 100

“Bebot” was released as a single in some Asian countries, particularly in the Philippines which the song was in Tagalog. It was a hit over radio and music video charts then in Asia.

“Mas Que Nada” wasn’t actually in the album “Monkey Business”  It was released after the success of “Monkey Buisiness” and a song only re-recorded with Balck Eyed Peas. The song became a hit when it reached the top 10 in numerous countries including number 6 in United Kingdom.
