Take That- Take That & Party
United States- Take That never achieved success in United States during the earlier part of their career. At the time, New Kids on the Block is topping American charts, which shortly declined.
United Kingdom- Take That also had success with their singles from “Take That & Party” album. They scored at least a total of three songs to reach the top 10 in United Kingdom. Here are those big songs:
It Only Takes a Minute- #7
A Million Love Songs- #7
Could it Be Magic- #3
Take That actually released 8 singles from “Take That & Party”. However, only three songs charted in the country. Still a success for them for scoring at least three successful singles from it. Their biggest single which is “Could It Be Magic” was original by Barry Manilow, while “It Only Takes a Minute” was original by Tavares.
As mentioned, “Could It Be Magic” was the group’s biggest selling and highest charting single. However, it is a remake single. So the only two choices were between “It Only Takes a Minute” and “A Million Love Songs”. The former was also a remake so the only choice is “A Million Love Songs” since it is an original song. So I am sharing the video and not the chorus of the song, rather the stanza which is the notable part of the song. Check below:
A Million Love Songs (memorable lines)
A million love songs later
And here I am trying to tell you that I care
A million love songs later
And here I am
Looking to the future now
This is what I see
A million chances pass me by
A million chances to hold you
Take me back, take me back
To where I used to be
To hide away from all my truth
Through the light I see
