Then his remix album, “Never Say Never: The Remixes” went to number 1, followed by his holiday album “Under the Mistletoe”. His second studio album “Believe” became his fourth number 1 in albums charts, and “Believe Acoustic” as his fifth. His current album “Purpose” became his latest number 1, as well as his fastest seller. By the way, his “My World EP” may only peaked at number 5 but it went platinum. United Kingdom-Justin Biebe may only have one number 1 album whch is “Believe”, but most of his releases went to top 10. His album “Purpose” peaked at number 2 but is poised to be his biggest seller in the country.
Justin Timberlake United States-Justin Timberlake became a successful solo artists after being a boyband member. He scored a total of three number 1 albums in the US. His first charttopper was “Future Sex / Love Sounds”, which remains his biggest seller. It was followed by “The 20/20 Experience” and that same year the album was released with “The 20/20 Experience- 2 of 2”. His debut album “Justified” which peaked at number 2 was his second biggest selling album at 3x platinum RIAA certification. United Kingdom-Justin Timberlake became very successful in United Kingdom too. He had three number 1 albums, which was initiated by his debut album “Justified”. The album was his biggest selling in the territory where it was certified by BPI with 6x platinum. His second album “FutureSex/LoveSounds” went to number 1 too which was certified 4x platinum, and followed by “The 20/20 Experience”. The album’s second volume “The 20/20 Experience- 2 of 2” peaked at number 2.
Usher United States-Usher is one of the most successful R&B artists in United States. He scored a lot of successful albums. His first album to reach number 1 was “Confessions” which eventually went 10x platinum by RIAA. His succeeding number 1 albums were “Here I Stand” and “Raymond v Raymond”, which both were platinum, and his last one was “Looking 4 Myself”. He may only peaked inside the top 5 with “My Way” and “8701”, however they sold millions of copies in America. United Kingdom- Usher was also successful in Britain when he scored three number 1 album. His second album became a number 1 album which was certified BPI 2x platinum. It was followed by his most successful “Confessions”, which went 5x platinum and “Here I Stand”. His other albuns went top 10, with most albums certified Gold record.
Eminem United States-Eminem is the most successful rapper in history with sales and charttopping albums in the US. He scored a total of eight number 1 albums in America including his compilation and soundtrack albums. It started with “The Marshall Mathers LP, which was his biggest selling album. It was certified 10x platinum by RIAA. The same certification was awarded to the successful follow-up “The Eminem Show”. He also went to number 1 with this multi-million sellers “Encore” (5x platinum by RIAA), “Relapse”, “Recovery”, and “The Marshall Mathers LP2”. He topped the charts with the soundtrack of “8 Mile” and “Curtain Call: The Hits”, both were multi-platinums too. United Kingdom- Eminem is as popular in United Kingdom too. The rapper also achieved eight number 1 albums in United Kingdom. “The Marshall Mathers LP” and “The Eminem Show” went to number 1 as well as 8x and 7x platinum respectively. He went platinum to multi-platinums with his other number 1 albums, “Encore”, “8 Mile” (soundtrack album), “Curtain Call: The Hits” (compilation album), “Relapse”, “Recovery”, and “The Marshall Mathers LP2”.

His biggest selling album was also the biggest selling album worldwide including US which is “Thriller”. It is also his first number 1 solo album and was RIAA certified a stunning 32x platinum. His second number 1 was “Bad” which went 9x platinum. It was followed by “Dangerous” and “HIStory: Past, Present, and Future: Book 1” and his last studio album “Invincible”. The soundtrack “Michael Jackson’s This is It” and the re-issue of “Bad” went to number 1 too. United Kingdom- Michael Jackson was also very successful in United Kingdom. He had scored at least 9 number 1 albums in the country. His biggest selling album there was the BPI 13x platinum certified “Thriller”. His other studio albums which went to number 1 were “Bad”, “Dangerous”, “HIStory: Past, Present, and Future: Book 1”, and “Invincible” His posthumous album “Xscape” went number 1 too. Compilation albums went number 1 too, namely: “18 Greatest Hits”, “Number Ones”, and “The Essential Michael Jackson”. He had a number 1 remix album too which was “Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix”.
Sam Smith United States-Sam Smith failed to reach number 1 the US with debut album “In the Lonely Hour”, however, it was a hit there reaching 2x platinum with a number 2 peak, and was one of the biggest sellers in US during the year it was released. United Kingdom-Sam Smith, as a Brit artist, did well in his hometown where he topped the charts for many weeks with “In the Lonely Hour” debut album. Aside from that, it is one of the biggest sellers there during the recent years. According tp BPI, it has gone 7x platinum already there. It generated several hit songs too.
