Seal already scored hits in the period 1990-1994. While from 1995-1999, he scored 1 top 10 hit through the “Space Jam” theme song “Fly Like an Eagle” which peaked at the bottom 10. That’s his last US top 10 though.
Donna Lewis (United Kingdom)
Donna Lewis is one of the artist who had success with their first ever single. Her pop song “I Love You Always Forever” became a US number 2 hit for several weeks. She is considered as one-hit wonder there despite reaching the Hot 100 with another song. She was featured in a soundtrack right after.

After hitting #2 with “Tears in Heaven” in 1992, Eric Clapton returned to the US top 10 in 1996 through the Grammy award winning and number 5 hit “Change the World” which was co-penned by top producer and songwriter thenĀ Babyface.
Elton John (United Kingdom)
Elton John is among the most popular UK artists of all time spanning career success in every decade. From 1995-1999, he only scored one top 10 but it can’t underestimated for spending 14 weeks at number and scored the biggest selling single ever worldwide which stands to 33 million with the single “Something About the Way You Look Tonight / Candle in the Wind 1997”. It was a tribute to the late Princess Diana.
Robyn (Sweden)
Robyn is one of the Swedish singer who achieved success in the US. She actually scored 2 top 10 hit singles in the US with “Do You Know What it Takes” (#7), and “Show Me Love” (#7). Her album charted as well.
Eagle Eye Cherry (Sweden)
Eagle Eye Cherry, the brother of 1980’s hit singer Neneh Cherry, tried music and he had some remarkable success. In 1997, his first single “Save Tonight” charted worldwide including the US peaking at number 5.
