After taking a break, Celine Dion returned in this new album which was appropriately titled “A New Day Has Come”. It was a usual pop album from her but had gone adventurous than her previous records. The album bece a worldwide number 1 seller.

“A New Day Has Come”, the title track, was released to be the carrier single of the album. The song was a mid-tempo ballad and such a good song and like energy was reserved in this song after hiatus. It has been a top 10 hit worldwide

The album was even her biggest selling album ever. As Celine Dion usually record, the songs were pop and mostly were ballads knowing she is a real ballad.

Falling into You (single)
“Falling into You”, which is the title track, was released as the debut single of the album. The track is just a simple love song, but one of the best tracks from the album. It went to the top 10 of the UK charts.

Celine Dion
United States- Celine Dion is actually one of the biggest selling female artists in United States. She has scored at least four albums to reach number 1. Her two first number 1 albums “Falling Into You” and “Let’s Talk About Love” went 10x platinum. She also went number 1 with “All the Way: A Decade of Songs” (compilation album) and “A New Day Has Come” (comeback album after hiatus) which went 8x and 3x platinum by RIAA, respectively. She had many more albums which went top 10.
United Kingdom- Celine Dion was very successful in United Kingdom too. She had scored five number 1 albums there which started with “The Colour of My Love” which went 5x platinum. It was followed by UK million sellers “Falling Into You”, then “Let’s Talk About Love”. Her compilation album “All the Way: A Decade of Songs” went number 1 too and gone 4x platinum, and followed by her last number 1 album ” A New Day Has Come”. She scored several top 10 albums too. Certifications were given by BPI.

Janet Jackson
United States- Janet Jackson may have failed on her first two albums but she eventually scored 7 total of number 1 albums. Her breakthough album was “Control”, her first number 1 album and went 5x platinum. It was followed by the 6x platinum awardee by RIAA “Rhythm Nation 1814”. Her first adult themed “janet.” went to number 1 too and reached 8x platinum. Her next charttopping albums were “The Velvet Rope” and “All for You”. Her last two number 1 albums were “Discipline” and “Unbreakable”. Sales of both albums though were underwhelming.
United Kingdom- Janet Jackson had a number of platinum and multi-platinum albums, but she only scored one number 1 albums in UK. That was “janet.”  which was certified double platinum by BPI. She had number two hit albums though. Some of her albums still sod well.

“Celine Dion” was released as Celine’s second English album. It is a pop album which included more ballad compared to “Unison”. The album had some inspirational themed songs, as well as about relationships. It performed and sold better in music charts compared to “Unison”, as it reached 2x platinum in the US, certified by RIAA.

Beauty and the Beast (with Peabo Bryson)
“Beauty and the Beast” was sang by Celine Dion with Peabo Bryson. It was the theme song of the animated movie with the same name, but was eventually included in “Celine Dion” album when it was released. The song is a beautiful ballad and has showcased Celine’s beautiful voice. It bexame a hit globally and reached top 10 both in United States and Britain

“Unison” is the first English album by Canadian singer Celine Dion. Celine already had a  number of albums released prior but were recorded in French. She already sold millions of albums before this album was released. “Unison” is a pop album which contains ballads and some dance-able tunes. But it is more on ballad as Celine was known as a balladeer. “Unison” had peaked below the top 50 in Billboard 200,  but did quite well in other countries.

“(If There Was) Any Other Way” was the first international single from “Unison”. It is a pop song and was remixed to more danceable sound. It was a top 35 hit in the US then.
