This “Hero” song of Mariah Carey has been one of her most popular and one of her numerous number one singles in the US. It was also a hit in several countries. It is an inspirational song which inspired many and often sang in singing competitions. It was covered by some artists too.

Enrique Iglesias had his “Hero” song too. However, it is not about being heroic to some people, rather, about being a hero for the girl you love” It was a big hit after reaching number one worldwide and top 5 in some countries including a number 3 peak in the US.

Whitney Houston had this track from her “The Bodyguard” soundtrack album as a released single. It had charted moderately in the charts but it was a very recognized Whitney Houston song. It is one of the most sang Whitney Houston songs in singing competitions. It is a love song in R&B and pop mood.
