Atomic Kitten- Feels So Good / Greatest Hits: Top 10 Singles in US and UK / Memorable Chorus of a Song

Atomic Kitten- Feels So Good
United States- “Feels So Good” was the last studio album by Atomic Kitten but it wasn’t released in United States again, and no single even charted.

United Kingdom- Atomic Kitten continues to make a string of hits and two singles was released from this final studio album of the girls. See what songs entered the top 10:
If You Come to Me- #3
Ladies’ Night (ft. Kool and the Gang)- #8
Atomic Kitten had two additional singles to reach the top 10. First with “If You Come to Me” which reached number 3 and followed by “Ladies’ Night” which featured the original group who performed the song Kool and the Gang. The girls made a total of 11 top 10 singles after that under their name.

Atomic Kitten’s most successful hit from the album was “If You Come to Me”, a mid-tempo track from them. The follow-up made it to number 8. That’s why I would be sharing the girls’ biggest hit from the album which was “If You Come to Me”. Check the video below:

If You Come to Me (Chorus)
Do you know when you go when you give it all away
I’ll be there for you, care for you
Love you everyday oh baby
And do you feel the same for me?
Everyday you’re away
And I feel a little low
I would cry for you, die for you
Just to let you know oh baby

Atomic Kitten- Greatest Hits
United States- No single was released in US from the compilation album.

United Kingdom- Atomic Kitten released this compilation album with two singles released. See what went to top 10 below:
Someone Like Me / Right Now 2004-#8
Cradle 2005- #10
Two former singles were re-released from the compilation album. First with “Someone Like Me” which had a double-sided single with their re-release of “Right Now” which was a number 8 hit. Followed by “Cradle” which was a number 10 hit.

I had chosen “Someone Like Me” to share since it is a new track from them. Enjoy the song below:

Someone Like Me (chosen lines from the song)
I know Its hard when you’re feeling down
To lift your feet up off the ground
We make mistakes but doesn’t everybody
You don’t always have to agree with someone like me
That’s the way it should be
Someone like me

Atomic Kitten- Feels So Good: Top 10 Singles in US and UK / Memorable Chorus of a Song

Atomic Kitten- Feels So Good
United States- Atomic Kitten also attempted to release the album “Feels So Good” in United States. One single was released but failed to chart. Though, it was used on a teenage TV show in the country.

United Kingdom- Atomic Kitten released this second album which again scored hits in United Kingdom. Four singles were released from “Feels So Good” which all charted. Check below which made it to the top 10:
It’s OK-#3
The Tide Is High (Get the Feeling)- #1
The Last Goodbye / Be With You- #2
Love Doesn’t Have to Hurt-#4
Atomic Kitten had all those four songs to reach the top 10 and top 5. Their biggest hit from “Feels So Good” was “The Tide os High (Get the Feeling)” which was a cover version. Two songs such as “The Last Goodbye” and “Be With You” were released in once CD or what we call double-sided single has became a number 2 hit. “It’s OK” was the first single which peaked at number 3. The girls already had 9 top 10 hits and thre number 1 hits after the last single from the album was released, making them one of the biggest UK girl group.

The ladies’ biggest hit song from “Feels So Good” has been their own version was “The Tide Is High (Get the Feeling)”. But I would be sharing the song from the double-sided single which is “The Last Goodbye” because of its simple tune. See and enjoy the song below:

The Last Goodbye (Chorus)
Ain’t no headlights on the road tonight
Ain’t nobody here to make it right
Cos we couldn’t seem to find a way, for love to stay
If you had another night to give
I would have another night to live
But you’re never gonna see me cry the last goodbye

Atomic Kitten- Right Now: Top 10 Singles in US and UK / Memorable Chorus of a Song

Atomic Kitten- Right Now
United States- Atomic Kitten didn’t release their debut album in United States. Perhaps, their sound is different and what’s popular in the country is R&B which was led by Destiny’s Child as the top girl band in the country at that time.

United Kingdom- Atomic Kitten did well in the country with their singles from “Right Now”. They had at least released 7 singles in the country which majority became hits and went to top 10. Here are their singles which went to top 10 in United Kingdom:
Right Now- #10
See Ya- #6
I Want Your Love- #10
Whole Again- #1
Eternal Flame (cover)- #1
Five of Atomic Kitten’ singles from the album went to top 10. They even reached number 1 with “Whole Again” and The Bangles’ original “Eternal Flame”. The former has gone platinum, while th latter went Gold by BPI. Aside from those singles mentioned above, they also charted with their other two singles. “Follow Me” peaked at number 20, while “You Are” peaked at a low number 90, their lowest ever.

No singles from the album has charted in United States, but their biggest hit in United Kingdom was “Whole Again”. It also did very well in several countries worldwide charting in high position. Internationally, “Eternal Flame” did very well too. The single has even gone platinum and sold over a million there. It was a love song about a girl who’s like whole again because of a new lover. I am sharing the chorus of the song below which speaks of the song’s story. Enjoy the music video below and see its chorus below:

Whole Again (Chorus)
Looking back on when we first met,
I can not escape and I can not forget,
Baby, you are the one
You still turn me on,
You can make me whole again.

10 Songs With “Bye”/”Goodbye”

One of the hardest thing to hear from your loved ones is the word “Bye” or “Goodbye”. We had heard a lot of songs using that word which were really sad songs. Here are some of the songs with “bye or “goodbye” in its title:

Mariah Carey- Bye Bye
This song was co-written by Mariah for her father who already passed away, as well as her other loved ones. It was also dedicated to those who had lost their loved ones and I can relate to this song as I lost my parents too. The song performed moderately in the charts which had a high note in the US reaching the top 20.

Spice Girls- Goodbye
Months after Geri Halliwell, known as Ginger Spice, left the Spice Girls, this song was released and was intended for Geri. It was a successful single as it hit the top of the charts, including United Kingdom.

James Blunt- Goodbye My Lover
This is such a sad song when you are losing your lover. The song performed well in some countries after reaching the top 10 particularly in Europe.

NSYNC- Bye, Bye, Bye
When you are being fooled by your lover and manipulating, then tell them “bye, bye, bye”. The song has been a hit worldwide peaking inside the top 10.

Michelle Branch- Goodbye to You
Another sad song saying “goodbye” to the one you love. The song became Michelle Branch’s third consecutive hit as it reached the top 25.

Boyz II Men- It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday
When what you have about your former lover is just a memory, and you don’t want to say “goodbye” from it. The song then became a number two hit in the US.

Celine Dion- I Love You Goodbye
Saying “goodbye” to someone you love because you know you can give the love back that person deserves and will hurt him/her. The song was not released as an official single in major charts but performed well in the Philippines.

Madonna- The Power of Goodbye
When you have that feeling of being hurt, it’s the feeling you’ll get when saying “goodbye” to that person you’d loved. The song became a hit in several countries worldwide.

Celine Dion- Goodbye’s the Saddest Word
When you have deep love for someone, like your mother, hearing “goodbye” from her will be the saddest word you’ll hear. I felt it when my mother said it. The song performed modestly in the charts.
