Due to the success of her debut album, Whitney Houston released her second effort simply called “Whitney”. The tracks from teh album share the same sound with her debut album for its R&B, ballad, pop and dance tunes. The album became a globally number 1 selling album which included US and UK. It was reported that the album sold more than 25 million.

“I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” was the lead single from Whitney Houston’s second album called “Whitney”. The dance pop track sounds alike with “How Will I Know”, Whitney’s song from her debut album. It was a bigger hit though reaching number 1 worldwide.
