A Rush of Blood to the Head (album)
Coldplay achieved multi-platinum success of their debut album “Parachutes”. The band finally released a follow-up to that album through their sophomore release “A Rush of Blood to the Head”. The album retained the same sound from their old one but with more rock sounds in some tracks. It has been a big seller as it reached number 1 in many countries. In US, it reached number 5 but became a 4x platinum record there as reported by RIAA. In UK, it became their second consecutive number 1 album and certified 9x platinum by BPI.
