Each day, I make a list of things I need to get done. It usually involves a bit of cleaning and a whole lot of work. Lately, I’ve been trying to keep a running list so that I don’t forget about the major projects I need to get done.
For instance, today, I still need to work on two assessment sets, grade some papers from my emails, and send new assignments to my private tutoring clients. One of them keeps forgetting to pay me, which is kind of frustrating. How many times I can I send the, “Hey… you need to pay me,” email? Just be a responsible adult and send me the money I’ve earned. I think I’ve done all the cleaning I’ve planned to do today, minus the load of laundry that’s chilling in the dryer. I’ll get to that soon, though.
I’ve got a couple of long-term projects on there, as well. I’m writing a class outline for one of the programs that I work for. I need to get it done because, not only will it give me a fat $250 paycheck, but I also get dibs on all the students that sign up for it. That’s a lot of money, especially because kids hate having to repeat this one class, and this will be the alternative for them. I’m working on an outline plan for a new private tutoring client, as well. I need to outline and create an objective for about two months of tutoring time. I need to get that one done sooner rather than later, though.
But, I need a break. I need to vent and think about me for a minute. So I’m blogging. I mean, that’s not the worst thing ever. Just this little note is worth 50 cents. So that’s good, right?
Okay… I have to end this. My youngest is fussing like crazy, and I need to put him down for a nap.
