My Many Hats

I am, first and foremost, a mother. My daughter is my highest priority. I devote myself to caring for her, teaching her new things, providing new experiences and opportunities, and giving her an understanding of what love really is. I hope that I can keep her safe, healthy, and happy.

I am a wife. I chose to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, and I hope to have a long, happy life with him. He is so important to me, and I don’t know what I’d do without him.

I am a homemaker. No, that wasn’t my original goal in life, but I get a certain amount of satisfaction in life by taking care of my family. I keep things clean, prepare daily meals, and run any errands that need to get done. It may seem unimportant to some, but I take this job very seriously.

I am a writer. This is, perhaps my most selfish hat, I write for myself. I like the feeling of contributing to my family’s financial security, and it gives me a creative outlet for my feelings. I am also able to connect to many other individuals through my writing, which is fun for me.

I am a daughter. My mom is one of the most important people in my life, and I like to give her my support. She struggles with an addiction and anxiety disorder. I make sure that I make myself available to her in case she needs a little support. Plus, she does her best to be a good grandma, and I’m so grateful for her efforts.

I am a sister. My siblings are so important to me, which is funny because I hated them growing up. But, we’ve grown much closer, and I’m glad to know that my daughter has such a wonderful aunt and uncle in her life. They are a true blessing.
