Today’s Progress

Normally, I tend to avoid these types of posts because I feel like they can get a bit boring and tedious for readers. But today was so awesomely productive that I just have to share.

I woke up a little before 6am, and I played on my phone while my daughter slept. After about 20 minutes, I got antsy, so I got up, got in the shower, and got dressed. When I was basically decent, my daughter still wasn’t awake. So I cleaned our room. And her room. Finally, at 7 am, she woke up, and we were ready to start our day.

We tend to have a slow breakfast routine, and I like it. I got her some milk and cut up an apple into slices for my daughter, and I made some toast with oatmeal for me. She always eats some of mine, too, which is fine by me. She watched cartoons for awhile, and then she was finally awake. She went to her toys, and I started on the house.

I managed to wash the dishes and bottles, clean the cabinets off, wash out the silverware tray, and sweep within about an hour. Then, I picked up all the toys in the living room, wiped down the surfaces with disinfectant wipes, and vacuumed.

After that, I blogged for awhile. After a quick break for lunch, I went back to blogging, and my daughter sat in my lap watching a movie. She quickly fell asleep, which was pretty unusual for her. I let her sleep, and I went back to spot cleaning a few areas in the house. I also managed to get three loads of laundry done. Plus, I washed the sheets and made the beds.

The house is looking pretty awesome.

On top of all this, I managed to earn close to 1000 points, and I was able to cash out for the first time. I was so excited, and the money hit my account after only about 3 hours!

Overall, today was amazing. Now, I’m off to spend some quality time with my husband and daughter, and I will look forward to tomorrow. It won’t be quite as productive because I have a few errands to run, and my daughter has her toddler class. But I don’t care. It will be a good day!

… Until later!
