Everyone always makes fun of these questions, but I actually feel like some of them are really revealing about a person’s character. Here are my answers to a few of those corny questions:
- If you could work in any profession, what would it be?
I would most definitely be a fiction novel writer. I love the idea of creating stories, and I’d love it even more if I could get published.
- What are you looking for in a partner?
A sense of humor and a willingness to work hard. If you can laugh at something, you can get through just about any fight. Working hard comes in when you can’t laugh it off.
- What is the last book you read?
It was actually The Walking Dead Series by Kirkman. I read both books in three days, and it was amazing. It was so weird to see The Governor portrayed in such a different way, and you kind of get why his crazy set in.
- What are your best qualities?
I think my best qualities would have to be my determination, organization, and caring nature. I work hard at work, and I believe I’m a good mom and wife. I like taking care of my family in every way that I can.
- Do you believe in love at first sight?
Absolutely not. I may be biased because I knew my husband for a year before we started dating, but I think people who believe in this are actually experiencing lust, not love. Love comes later when you have a history with a person.
- What is the longest relationship you’ve been in?
Actually, I will be celebrating my 10 year anniversary with my husband in a month.
- Do you give money to homeless people?
No. I like to go through the nearest drive through and buy them a meal. I think that’s better for them, and I know they won’t be buying drugs or alcohol with it. I also buy dog food if I see a homeless person with a dog. It makes me sad to think of a dog going hungry.
- Are you a morning or a night person?
If you would have asked me this three years ago, I would have absolutely told you I was a night person. But, since having my daughter, I have become a morning person. We get up early pretty much every day, and I almost look forward to the crisp morning air.
- Where is your favorite place to spend time?
Alone? I’d love to wander a huge used book store just listening to music and finding new books. With my family? I love going out to eat. I’m grateful that my daughter is well-behaved, and we always have a good time.
- If you could change a mistake from your past, what would it be?
I would ignore the drama of high school and avoid the damage to my relationship. Teenagers are so stupid, and I was no exception. I hurt my husband more than once, and I wish I hadn’t.
