Does plagiarism include use of print media contend to blog post?
I have asked this question because I can see most bloggers are said to produce quality content in a smarter way but I see similar content on local print media.

    • I believe it is not plagiarism if the authur can read, understand the topic and be able to write about the same in his own words but keeping the meaning. But this should not include just replacing some words and phrases in the same content structure.

    • if it is not copied, if you read and give your own opinion, then it is okay

    • I’ve had this question as well, @Zacc. I often use an article or five in my Newsgirl Tells the World! blog and I haven’t quite figured out the best way to cite it. I handle it by giving the title of the article with a clickable link, the author’s name, the date of publication, and the news source it’s coming from. All this occurs within the paragraph rather than a true citation, but it lets readers know that the article I’m getting information from is someone else’s writing. Like @Dick said, I think it’s important to give your own opinions as well so that it’s more obvious that you have your own thoughts on the subject.
