Please allow me a couple of days to go through and compare members points balance on the new server with that from the old server. I will update point balances accordingly if I find any discrepancies.
While waiting for the toolbar menu to get fixed you can access the same menu items on the left hand side of your profile page. You can access your profile page by clicking the “My Activity” link under the “Members” link in the menu bar at the top of the page.
Thanks for reporting the issue. I’m looking into what may have caused it and how to get it fixed.
We’ve run into some issues that has put the move behind schedule. I’ll post another update before the downtime takes place.
@sweetmuffins Other members have been receiving points for logging in. Are you logging out of the site when you’re finished for the day and have you tried deleting your browser cookies to see if that helps? I do see in your points history that you have received points for referring visitors lately. You will only receive points for unique visitors to your referral links, so that may be the reason why you’re expecting more points.
Thank you everyone for the kind words and best wishes, it’s very much appreciated. I also want to thank each one of you for the time and effort you have put into helping make this site successful. I hope 2016 brings continued growth and prosperity for all. Happy New Year!
More than likely the point deductions occurred because a post that you had commented on was deleted. It’s important that everyone report posts that don’t adhere to the site rules (like short posts, duplicate content, plagiarism, excessive cursing, etc) instead of commenting on them, because these posts will eventually get deleted and everyone will lose the points they received from commenting on them.
You can not use pop unders or adult ads on your sites, so those ad networks are not allowed.
Yes, you can post links to your articles on other sites. Just please be considerate of the other users and try not to spam your links.
@grecy095 No, that’s not what I was saying at all. It is true that you can lose points when the author of a blog deletes one of your comments. But what I was trying to say is that if an entire blog post get’s deleted either because the author deletes it or because it violated the site rules, either way every user who commented on that deleted post would lose the points for those comments. That’s why it’s better to report blog posts that violate the site rules right away, so it can be removed before other users have a chance to comment on it.
@rapidblue what you sent was good. You have been approved for the project.
