I’m trying to switch my days and nights because I’m starting a new job. My first “day” is tomorrow night, so wish me luck!

Ok, so today is day three of being jobless. I haven’t given up yet, and in fact I’ve started looking into freelancing jobs to supplement my income until I can findΒ something more permanent. Here’s my problem with […]

    • I’ll be honest with you, freelancing through an agency scares me to death. I thought freelancing meant you chose where and how often to write for. Of course, I should know better because my local newspaper sometimes hires freelance writers…Anyway, back to you. I wish you luck. Searching for jobs is ridiculous but I think you’ll eventually find something that’s perfect.

So I’m finishing up day two of being jobless. I got laid off last Thursday, and I gotta say….it SUCKS. I honestly don’t understand how people can go without work for years on end, and just give the answer “Well, […]

    • I am sorry to hear about that my friend just be positive I know something good will come to you. πŸ™‚

  • Happy Friday Movie Geeks! As promised, today is my review of Dodgeball: A true Underdog story. This movie makes the list of “stupid movies” because if you watch it, you can feel your brain cells melting […]

Thank you πŸ™‚ my first priority is getting a job. Then I can start getting picky.

  • Thank you so much for that! God Bless You!!!

Thank you. I’ve been getting that a lot. I’ve already applied for a couple jobs, and am expecting an interview in the next day or so. I’ll be ok, I’m just extremely depressed and upset right now.

    • Good luck on your interview! When one door opens and all that. With your recommendation from this job and your experience, I see you getting some good news.

so today SUCKS. I went to work like normal, spent the whole day BORED out of my mind, and right before I left, my supervisor fired me. Apparently they can’t afford to keep me hired, and had to let me go. Gave me a really good reference, but still. I haven’t been without a job in almost 9 years, and it’s driving me nuts already. The worst part…[Read more]

    • You have my sympathy. I know it won’t get you a job, but I’m here to talk to if you need to.

    • Sounds bad…. hope things get better and you get a job soon. Stay calm and make rational decisions. Vent out once in a while, but don’t let your frustration or anger cloud your judgement.
      All the best!

  • I just think that So many people want to believe that the Bible has no place in our society today. I wholeheartedly disagree. The bible is just as relevant today as it was when it was being written. God doesn’t change, so why would his word? So translating this to modern times just seemed like the right thing to do πŸ™‚

  • I’ve heard it said that the Bible is “Archaic” and “Old Fashioned.” Well, I will ask you this: why is old fashioned wrong? So to counter all of those, I thought I would take Solomon’s (he was the wisest man in […]

    • Well…if any member of my family does not have snowproof winter gear from head to toe, it’s no fault of mine!

The LaHayes once said that the “female servants” here might refer to the things modern homemakers have to take care of the chores–vacuum cleaners, laundry and dishwashing machines, etc. If so, giving them a portion of food might mean paying the utility bills.

I think they were reaching, though. The virtuous woman has a business that expands beyond her home, and she employs other women.

  • They certainly know how to make Americans lose faith that good movies exist.

  • The only word I can use to describe this movie is “Bizarre.” The plot is weird, the characters are strange, and the whole movie is just….bizarre. Set in post-apocalyptic Australia, this movie is the worst […]

One more sleep and I get to go test drive the car I want! it’s so cute! Anyone heard of the Chevy Spark? it looks kind of like an elongated smart car πŸ™‚

  • I wouldn’t call it a “cult classic,” but Clueless is definitely in the “guilty pleasure” category. It’s very cute, as long as you don’t watch it all the time lol.

  • Every Friday during the month of February, I will be highlighting several of the stupidest movies in the world, and giving them a little bit of attention. We all have those guilty pleasure movies, that even though […]

    • I don’t exactly hate Clueless, but I’ve seen it multiple times and I still don’t remember what it’s about. Apparently it’s considered a cult classic, which is weird because all I remember is that it was a teen movie like other teen movies. That’s not a great way to describe a so-called cult classic.

    • Its an OK movie to watch once in awhile

    • Interesting review.

Good Morning Blogjobbers! I’m hard at work, but I’m hoping to have a couple blog posts up today. Be on the lookout!
