Which company has the following taglines:
1. “Because You’re Worth It”
2. “Betcha Can’t Eat Just One”
3. “Think Different”-
Any takers at all for this quiz?
-
@jponiato that is the right answer.
-
How about “Good to the last drop”?
“A little dab will do ya”?
“We bring good things to light?”
-
Thanks for adding a few more. Looks like fun.
-
-
You got them all right. The second one was Brylcream.
-
Okay, here are some more:
1. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking
2. Where’s the beef?
3. My bologna has a first name…
4. Double your pleasure, double your fun.
5. It’s the real thing.
6. I’d rather fight than switch.
7. How do you spell relief?
8. Cleans your teeth while it cleans your breath.
9. Mmm Mmm Good!
10. The milk from contented cows.-
I can’t figure out a single answer! Maybe it’s because I’m not in the US.
-
That is probably true, @ross. These are all from the 1940’s -1970’s, except for the last one. Though the last one was used as recently as the 70’s, it actually came from the early 1900’s. I’ll give a hint on it, though. It was and is a canned milk company here in the states. I can give other hints, too, but I’d like to see if anyone can get any of…[Read more]

Which famous english movie was called Production 9401 during its filming before it was released.
-
I found the answer on Google, but I’ll refrain from posting it here in case somebody knows it.
-
This isn’t easy. Since it’s been a while since I posted, please Google for the answer if you need to.
-
Okay then, the answer is “Psycho”.
-
@gina145 that’s the right answer.
-
-
-
Thanks @jponiato. I didn’t know that either. I’ve never seen the movie and don’t particularly want to either.
-
@jponiato That’s good to know. Maybe I’ll look out for it on television, though I’ll probably have to watch it on my own. I don’t imagine my Mom will be prepared to watch it with me.
-
Psycho was Hollywood I think. I used English to mention the language.

Something not right. I have posted another qyiz yesterday and it disappeared alittle while later. I reposted it and now it’s gone.
Looks like there’s a lot of niggles to be sorted out.-
I guess we’ll just have to be patient then. I hope Sheldon fixes it soon.
-
Yes. Still there seem to be things needing to get fixed. Couple of days before, I tried answering a puzzle posted by dawnwriter for which she had asked me to try another answer. I had replied her that i will think again but subsequently the puzzle vanished. I found it dawnwriter’s activity again and replied.

Another picture puzzle. Can you find the odd man out. I have posted this in my blogger blog. Please post the answer as a reply in this thread at blogjob. It makes it easier to track.
http://cerebralsynapses.blogspot.com/2016/05/out-of-hand.html-
B?
-
C?
-
-
Well! Honestly speaking, the other three signs are thumbs up, hifi and victory whereas I could not connect it to anything. So, I felt that is the odd one out.
-
It sounds like @gayathri may be onto something there. My guess was based on the fact that B was the only one in which the palm of the hand was exposed.
-
-
Well spotted. I was never that convinced by my own answer.
-
I’ll give this one to @jponiato .
It’s also very interesting to note what @gayathri and @gina145 have mentioned as it didn’t cross my mind. Nice to see so many different ways of thinking out the same puzzle. -
Great@jponiato. This never crossed my mind
-
Something niggly in this group. I’ve posted a quiz after this and it keeps disappearing every few hours!! @gina145 @gayathri @luciaanna

What happens once in a minute, never in an hour, never in a thousand years, twice in a millenium and once a month.

The letter m.
-
Congrats @gina145. I knew the answer, but I am late ….
-
Thanks @luciaanna. I just happened to be online at the right time, so I didn’t really give other people much chance at this one.

Yes, dear @gina145. That sometimes happens…Have a wonderful day.
