All my cousins are more like my brothers and sisters, and all of their kids are my nieces and nephews. I love all of those nieces and nephews more than my words can say. In my family, family matters. They are my every thing, my support system, my best friends. I do not know where I would be without my family, we are all extremely close.
Yesterday, I was at my cousins house visiting his new baby James. His wife Katie and him asked me to be his godmother. I immediately started crying and then said of course. I feel so honored and beyond grateful that of all people he could have chose, and they chose me. It also shows that my family loves me despite my HD. It just makes my heart warm.
Now this is very special to me because of my HD, I have chosen not to have children, a choice that breaks
heart. My Godson baby James heals my heart, and makes me happy. I am just so thankful to have him in my life.
It is a beautiful honor to be baby James god mother, and it mends all of the broken pieces the HD has broken.
Thanks for reading ,
Alex
