thanks for all the input. It’s hard because I’ve used Elance in the past but all of their gigs are at rock-bottom prices. They want you to write an 80,000 word novel for $50!?

We brush past death every day but, strangely, he does not choose to take us today. Instead, death singles out another. Is it so selfish to be pleased that he has given us another day on this blessed earth? We all know that we will have to die someday but, we hope against hope that that day is not today. Is it so foolish to hope that we are exempt from death? I am not filled with a fear of death; I am filled with an all-consuming fear of being left behind.

The writer isĀ a curious person. They write about captivating, outgoing and energetic people and yet they spend most of their time alone in coffee shops; scribbling away in a tattered notebook with a broken pen.
No true writer writes for money; money kills creativity. The majority of writers write as a way of expressing themselves the same way outgoing people express themselves with their tongues. And, you see, that is why very few writers become rich; they don’t follow the money, they follow their heart.
