Summer Cocktail Inspired Outfits

Hi my Lovelies!

What can be better than a Nice Refreshing Summer cocktail enjoyed on the beach? Why not get inspired by these girly cocktail drinks by creating a fun and chic Summer outfit? Here’s one to get you started:

Lets start with the Drink- Watermelon-Tequila Cocktails

1/4 cup water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
8 cups diced seedless watermelon (1 pound)
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 3/4 cups blueberries
3/4 cup lightly packed fresh mint leaves, plus 8 sprigs for garnish
1 1/4 cups silver tequila
How to:
1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a simmer with the sugar and stir over moderate heat until the sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute; let the sugar syrup cool.
2. In a blender, puree the watermelon until smooth. Set a fine-mesh strainer over a bowl and strain the watermelon juice, pressing gently on the solids to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the pulp.
3. In a large pitcher, combine the sugar syrup with the lime juice, blueberries and mint leaves. Using a wooden spoon, lightly muddle the blueberries and mint. Add the watermelon juice and tequila. Refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours.
4. Pour the cocktail into tall ice-filled glasses. Garnish with the mint sprigs and serve

Summer Picnic Fashion

Summer is Officially (un-officially) here, which means bring on the Picnic parties. Ever not sure what to wear or bring with you to that picnic party ? Whether it’s a summer BBQ at the Park with a few friends or a picnic at the Lake or Beach, don’t forget these essentials!

Yoga is a wonderful activity that we ALL need. Yes, ALL of us, including the Males! Yoga helps us relax our mind, body and soul and feel at ease in the moment. Some days I just don’t feel like like “working out”, but I still try and find a Yoga Class to attend. After attending yoga I feel energized and refreshed and ready to take on the world! There’s just something so powerful about Yoga.

And no, I’m not a rubber band that you twist and bend in all sorts of directions. There’s no need to do that with yoga anyway.

Don’t worry if you aren’t able to do all the moves the first time, Practice makes Perfect remember? Keep going to Yoga, you’ll get better and feel so good afterwards!!!

Summer is here..which means we are turning on the A/C, fans anything to stay cool. The best way to stay cool…is you guessed it…from the inside!!
